In that case, I won't comment on anything in this list, because I want to see some of these possible posts. So there!

With possible diversions to my Really Deep Epiphanies about how I think the majority of comments left, in general, are about the commenter rather than the original poster and the majority of my replies are about me rather than the commenter

SO TRUE. I have been noticing this recently over on deliciouslymad, because people will post about their shit and I will comment about ME ME OMG ME and then later I feel bad. I think that's also true of just regular LJ comments, but I hadn't really thought about in terms of comments on fanworks. Hmmmm. Braindump pls!

I am going to make this a case in point: I *also* turn every comment I ever make into a statement about me. See how I did that?

Thanks for the reminder to do my BSE. I always make a point to do one when I hear anything about breast cancer in the media or otherwise. Actually, I'm surprised this whole thing with my cats dying from breast cancer (it started in their teets and spread from there) didn't prompt me to do a BSE every other day. O_o Meh.

Anyway, a better alternative for your backache might be an epsom salts bath. Mix 3 parts epsom salts, 2 parts baking soda, 1 part salt, and add however much you want to your hot bath. Around 1 to 2 cups should be enough. And you can sit in the bath longer than 10 minutes (just don't let the bath lull you to sleep - you could get dehydrated).

*hugs*

Hope you feel better, and can get your mind focused. And good luck with the new writing project. :)

Thanks for the tip! I've had epsom salt baths recommended to me, too. Maybe I'll try both and compare and contrast and see how I like them; probably the whole pound bath is really strong and wouldn't be good for every occasion.

And, wheee, writing. I just passed 3,000, I am very excited! *dances*

Tell me about it, right? It's amazing the things I can learn to love through persistence of exposure.
