No matter what I think of my writing now, at least it's not like *this* anymore.

I'm re-arranging. Everything. My room is completely empty and the only thing that's in here right now is the desk, and there's junk sprawled out everywhere that I'm sorting through. End of year bonanza! I've gotten rid of about six paper bags full of stuff so far, which is pretty happymaking ( Read more... )

on writing, [hahahaha]

Oh crystaline emo tears.

Sadly, I have no early gems like this to share.

I do, however, like your icon muchly.

It isn't real teenage writing unless the word crystalline appears at least once, if you ask me. *g* Especially if it's in conjunction with a freakishly beautiful woman in pain over something awful her society or parents have done to her, and this character had both, lucky her!

Eee, icon! I went on a spree last night because I was missing having the boys in my icon slots. They are so pretteh. *pets them*

I've seen some of it; I'm only up to the first episode in S2. I have to admit that much of the plot eludes me, though, because I'm usually doing other things and only have it on in the background.

Oh no :( They're all gone? That's so sad! *cries for loss of writing*

Somebody had a thesaurus.

I kept almost everything I wrote from grade-school on until two years ago. I kept some things, what I worked really hard on or was still actually proud of or what ideas I still liked, but a majority went in the garbage...

My old journals, however, those are all arranged neatly in order with little stick tabs on all the really good bits. I was a melodramatic teenager, Let Me Tell You.

I was a dirty thesaurus abuser, oh, yes. We had some sweet, verbose love, we did.

I'm trying to acquaint myself with the idea of recycling bad writing. I have a hard time doing it, because I keep thinking, "but in ten years, this will be even more hilarious to read."

I still have all my old journals, too, and my personal LJ details all my melodramatic teen years in sometimes excruciating detail. Overjournaling = FTW.

Oh, gods, that's priceless!! XD I shudder to think of the emo crap I wrote at that age. Mind you, I'm still all with the angst, but there comes a time when you can only laugh at the oh-so-deep line: I am one, and alone.

*vomits*

:p~~

My love for angst hasn't abated in the least, I think I've just learned that I can leave it implied more often than not, heh. And some of the angsty poetry I wrote during highschool, just, wow, they might break some badwriting barriers that should never be broken.

I am one, and alone.
*laughs* In the right context that wouldn't make me vomit, truthfully. Maybe I've been reading too many angsty band blog entries. *g*

Most of my emo-tastic writing from my middle/high school years was on the laptop I crashed irreparably about eight months ago. There was stuff I was sad to lose, but that wasn't one of them.

Hahaha, yeah, I kinda wish that had happened to me. But, noooo, I had to print it all out (some of it multiple times, wtf?) and pile it in boxes to sort through years later. Thank God most of it's funny, otherwise this would be an awful way to pass the time when I could be Panic!stalking.
