I'm using LiveJournal as a way of not falling asleep. Is that a bad thing?

I got a last.fm account just because I could. (Data collection FTW.) Is anyone else on there?

I was re-watching some Claude episodes because I wanted to re-familiarize myself with his voice, and this!:

CLAUDE: [to Peter] You got this rosy film over your eyes, like a kid. It’s no wonder you live like an adolescent-posters on the wall, hair in ( Read more... )

*blinks* I can honestly say I haven't thought about these two interacting other than knowing it had happened in theory until now.

But, man, these two would be messed up. Neither of them seems able to have issue-free relationships :-/ Adam would be so very bent on his mission, and I can really picture Angela as the young woman, this person who's somewhere right between Peter's idealism and Nathan's cynicism--like she knows better than the trust the world, but she does it anyway, and trusting Adam would almost be an extension of that, and would awful would it be when she finds out the truth about him? I don't see her as the type to necessarily 'fall' for his whole shtick, his 'I am wiser than thou' kind of martyrdom, but I could also really see her being at a point in her life and in relation to the world, with the war and everything, where she'd desperately want to invest herself in something that felt like it had meaning. And Adam would totally sense that and manipulate it for all it's worth.

Hee! I like your brain! *pets it*

Yeah, one has to wonder how Kaito knew. And Angela knows everything, so logic follows.

Starbuck/Cain! Mmm.

Or, of course, the infallible Hunter/Serpentine in case you can't think of anything for the first two. *nod*

Alas, I haven't met Cain yet. I needs to set aside some time to catch up on BSG soon.

Well, I love how canon H/S are. I mean, the text gives us Serpentine: telling Hunter she is welcome in her domain at any time (which is a privilege, not a right for a woman of her position), caressing Hunter's face, and confirming that Hunter worked for her before. From there, there about a million places to go--explore their history, what would happen if Hunter had lived (especially if Serpentine had saved her, oooh, how awesome that would have been), simple moments of intense experience and sensuality when they share experiences like the hunt... all of it just points to OTP, really. Plus, the fact that Hunter is hot like fiiiiire doesn't hurt at all. *g* And Hunter's loyalty to Serpentine just slays me like few other things can, oh, yes. Something about that unspoken trust and the sense that they would stick by each other to the very end--the way we *saw* Serpentine stick by Hunter until her ending--just... guh. Really.

Mmm, yeah.

We totally should make a shipper manifesto for these two. They deserve one.

I'm gathering supplies! I've got the comic scans which have hot Hunter, and I think I'll rent the DVD soon so I can take hot Hunter screencaps (yeah, kind of a theme going, here), and I already snipped out all the best H/S sections from the novel. I guess that just means it's time to find smart things to say about them... duuuurh.

I have to literally have them speak their dialogue to me mentally, otherwise I hate the story and feel like I’m just making all my characters speak the same way I do.

I'm exactly the same way. Also, I want Claude back.

I want Claude back so much. He would add a much-needed dose of face-smacking to the show. Too bad Eccleston's so in demand they'll probably never snag him again.
