Yes, I do! If it's something that's very very dated, like 'oh no which should i decide!' kind of thing, then yeah that's a little strange but I don't mind. But I usually love having people reply t o old entries. Especially in comms.
I love getting comments, especially on older stories. It's always a thrill to know someone's still reading them. ;) Do you not like it? Because I'm so far behind that could be a problem...
*wipes brow* Oh good, I don't have to remove all those stories from my "Geez, woman, read these someday!" link list. ;) Well, I would have read them anyway and just not commented if it turned out you found it annoying. :)
I like comments of all types, since I am a comment whore, but I am the suck at answering them, especially the old ones. If it's not in the top three posts on my journal I just tend to forget. I *try* to remember, it just doesn't usually happen. I'm the worst procrastinator, which makes me pretty lame. Then I always feel guilty. But that doesn't mean I don't enjoy comments.
Comment-guilt is one thing that definitely makes the nested system on LJ a love/hate thing for me. On the one hand, comments, yay! On the other, wow, comments to answer, eeek.
LJ lets you change you answer! For any poll, if you click on the poll itself, like here, and then select "fill out poll," you get to re-do it. Which comes in handy when I click on things without reading what I'm clicking on, sometimes. *g*
Oh, goody! That makes me happy, because yours is a journal I have earmarked for some excursions when I'm in the mood for comment spamming :D
Haha, no worries. I've looked back through my old, old LJ entries before (when I was flocking them all to protect the innocent), so I know not to judge anyone on things that old. *g*
Oh, childhood, where hast thou gone? I wonder that all the time. How did I grow up without even noticing? O_O

Honestly, I don't mind at all. Makes me gleeful that people actually go back that far.

Ohnoes. Please remember I was an angsty little teenager back then. A whole lot of those posts embarrass the hell out of me, let me tell you. *laugh*
