Lalala, song lyrics and reviews

Aug 08, 2007 20:36

I’m 100% convinced that the song Gonna Find by The Lovemakers is about the singer (lady on the left) being in love with a robotic woman. ( Animatronic lesbian action y/n? )

review: television, content: quote (excerpt/poem/lyrics/&c.), review: movies, =equilibrium, review: random media ramblings, review, =john from cincinnati, person: vera farmiga, picspam, =hairspray

Girl, you *just* watched Equilibrium? EXPECT TO BETA MY FICS!

And while I do not deny the potential between John and Brandt, I felt it hard between him and Errol. (First partner. "Tread softly, for you tread on my dreams.")

I don't really agree with you about the action though. I think Gunkata, in theory, was amazing, but a little flawed in it's execution. Then again, I am a stick in the mud that likes to ruin peoples fun. *L*

The sing along? I WANT TO COME! YOU NEVER LET ME COME! (Great, I bet I get banned for that.)

WOOO HOOO I WAS HOPING YOU HAD SOME FOR ME.

Oh, yeah, definitely. It's just, y'know, the way things went in the canon with Errol... made it more difficult. Oh, you know what? JOHN/BRANDT/ERROL, BABY. You know I like to solve all my problems with threesomes. *g*

See, I'm weird. A lot of times, I don't like action that's, in most people's opinions, well done. It's more about the atmosphere than the action for me, and I found that their combination of the two just worked great for my type of viewership.

I WISH YOU COUUUUULD. We should have our own singalong now that we've figured out the voice features thingie. Then we could equally annoy all the members of our household together in real time. How great does that sound?

Are you all caught up on JFC? There are sooooo many slashy pairings there is no end, and Butchie goes out on the limb a couple times to stand up for John. But I'd say Butchie/John is my otp for JFC. I also fell in love with Brian Van Holt as Butchie pretty much immediately. Some other fans and I were talking about it, and a lot of them were saying they're so over the "bad guy hero" thing, but I thought it was actually a pretty honest portrayal of someone who could be a real person.

Anyway, I have been planning to write Butchie/John slash, but I haven't yet landed on a plot bunny I am totally happy with. And no, it will not include a horrendous dump!

I just finished catching up. OMG LOOOOOOOOVE. You know my taste very well, apparently. This is seriously right up my alley. Butchie/John is my JFC OTP right now, too. I'm sad that the later episodes don't have as much Butchie/John love, although the way he stands up for him and has faith in him is ♥. And Brian Van Holt... oh, man. I just can't believe this is the same guy I saw in Threshold. He so totally inhabits Butchie. Not to mention looks reallllly nice with those tattoos and in a wet suit. *g*

And, really, a lot of the characters fit that "bad guy hero" thing. How does that make Butchie different? Ah, well. For all his flaws, I love him.

HAHAHAH. Good, I'm glad to hear that. Because although that scene was great for setting up the slash, it doesn't need to be featured in it! Good God. And YAY BUTCHIE/JOHN FIC! I was scouring the internet looking for JFC fic and was coming up with nothing and got all sad, so that's *very* exciting news. I'd like to write them, too, if I can get a handle on the characters.

Christian Bale looks a lot like the guy who plays Smecker in the first pic.

And, I was just going to say, you've seen American Psycho, yes? Oh, Christian Bale, crazy or not...

Oh, wow, I never would have thought of that. They do have somewhat similar bone structures, don't they?

I haven't! I'm not sure how I've managed not to see that movie, but I really must remedy that. Maybe I'll do a Christian Bale marathon before the The Dark Knight comes out.

Yes, you really must. It's disturbing, but so funny, and you get a naked Christian Bale (no frontal or anything, BUT STILL.). So what's not to love?

Plus, one of my favorite lines of all time: "I'm not trying to get you drunk, but ah, that's a very fine wine you're not drinking." :D

HEE I KNOW I'M TOTALLY EXCITED! I've been practicing the songs a lot to make sure I know all the words, hahahaha. Lyrics challenged brain for the lose. :p

You know, I'm not even sure. The website I was looking at for showtimes didn't even say any other details.

Yes, you do! Preferably something Cornylicious. *g*
