...seems abt right. I have a theory that Aimee would have been a whole AU for E...he would have still been that kid with God in his heart & the flag on his back, terrorising all the boys looking at his daughters & raising AMAZING sons. But then, the Armed Forces happened & Aimee got married & the rest, as they say, is history.
