Considering that we are potentially going to be talking about security issues, I thought it best that we move this discussion to a separate page in my journal, where I have better control over the locks ( Read more... )

Wow, and here I thought you just forgot me. This is why I should pay more attention to my journal.

I would love a job with Torchwood. I don't really need much in the way of benefits, but a few guns and and some spending money is a lot fucking better than what I've got now.

I'm going out patrolling with one of your people tomorrow, angel named Phoebe. Depending how late we're out, maybe we can talk after? Or before. Or... hell, I don't know, I'm just pretty psyched about being armed again.

Sorry, I did mean to come find you in person, but this whole haunting situation has been eating up all of my time and energy.

Oh, so you've talked to Phoebe? Good! I'll let her know you're to have free rein of the armory. And I work until pretty late, so whenever you feel like stopping by is fine by me. My office is right next to the stairs, so it should be pretty easy to find.

I don't suppose you know how to use a sword, do you? It's been a rather long time since I've had anyone new to spar with.

I've got a little practice with a battle axe, but my family was a lot bigger on firearms and hand to hand. I'm willing to learn, though, if you don't mind teaching. Sounds cool.

Mmm, I'd imagine they would. I originally learned the sword principally as a form of meditation, so combat practicalities were less of a consideration. Still, I find it to be remarkably useful as a weapon. I still prefer it to a gun in indoor combat situations.

I would be honored to have you as my student.
