The Gothic-Punk-Festival must have been a disaster for the organiser. There were less than 100 people! It was quite boring. Some of the bands seemed very disappointed. But Clan of Xymox were great and they didnt seem to mind playing for 50 people. It was very cool ( Read more... )

I expect it'd be very strange to be in Leipzig when it wasn't WGT. Would be rather like walking around a closed amusement park. Serene, but unnatural. But I suppose you had about 99 other goths to keep you company.

Re: NIN - enjoy. I went to see their pre-tour show at the Astoria back in March (Giles did too). It was amazing. I'd love to see them again. Because we had tickets to that one, I didn't order any for the tour proper. However, now I'm tempted to.

Anyway, hope all's good. :>

The festival was near Leipzig, but Leipzig seemed far away. It was a very small village, very hard to find. :)
A closed amusement park is something very depressing; i know it from my childhood. I loved amusement parks in Russia, the GDR ones were not as good.
Anyway, I'm quite often in Leipzig so I don't associate it with WGT too much.
