In the sculpture in the center of Obs Deck, the mouth of the statue dropped open, revealing the giant screen, and presumably speakers.

Harper hears 'Drift' and tunes out the rest in favor of doing his personal victory dance in the corner. Hell yes! Civilization, at last!

Tails comes in, listens, and then asks the most important question of all:

"Does this mean we get to meet aliens?!" It's like Christmas in.... whatever month this is!

After the initial moment of blustering panic, Ragetti realises that the creepy fresco's not actually doing anything hostile, and is in fact sort of a scaled-down version of the room with the magic windows. And that's not half as otherworldly as the room that takes you wherever you want. And so Ragetti is not having an enormous freak-out, and if you give him a moment he'll just feel rather proud of that fact.

This feeling is short-lived, though, as just down here there's a talking fox. Hello, talking fox. Are you an hallucination, or just another unnatural thing about this unnatural ship?

Ragetti's startled "Maybuhwhaa?" is unlikely to effectively convey this question.

Tails is a Mobian, and therefore TOTALLY more natural than any of you freakish hairless Overlanders! >:O
