Minor medical question

For those of you who are/have been on T, have you experienced any growing pains? I've got what I think is pain in my pelvis and I'm wondering if it's related to the T.

(Also, it's been almost three months!)

t-changes, t-unexpected changes

Is it a dull sort of pain? I get a dull abdominal pain sometimes, but I don't know that it's related to T.

Honestly I wouldn't ask for a diagnosis for pelvic pain over the internet. Depending on what hurts and how, you could be experiencing anything from minor cramps--if you have not had a hysterectomy--to things much more serious. If you are worried, please ask your doctor.

It is possible to get cramps after being on T for awhile, but of course that only is true if you still have your uterus. Anything bothersome, though, I really would ask an MD in person.

Honestly, I'm not worried at all. It's not cramping and it feels like the growing pains I got when I was younger. Seeing the doctor in a few weeks anyway.

Hormonal growth often causes bone (location) pain.

Although it is safest to ask a doctor, it shouldn't be something to worry about until then.

Thank you. I thought it was probably that, but wasn't sure.

Bone pain? Because the bones are growing more?

It's not actually the bones which are hurting. But they might be developing some or the muscles around them are changing. Either way, it's a fairly common side effect from growth (in any part of your body).

Testosterone also strengthen bones, which could be causing it.

I've not, I've been on T low dose for 3 months. However my mate has, his legs are often aching with growing pains. He's been on T about 6-7 months and has had it the last 2-3 months and has grown about an inch despite being 22 and stpping growing years ago.
