Yes I am a male bodied individual with large breasts. Please fucking get over it. Being stared at, laughed at, snickered at, and called "faggot" "fag" "fairy" "queer" or having something obscene yelled at me have gotten severely old by now.

I would just like to state for the record that while SUNY Albany has had its short comings in handling discrimination I have had some good experiences at the school. ResLife has gotten better, and has bought out the second half of my double so I can feel safe in my housing situation. My new manager allows to go against protocol and not wear my name tag. But at the same time, these are small steps. The idea behind putting this in writing and putting in the school paper and places like here is to raise awareness. Thanks for reading. I will get to individual comments when I find the time.

SUNY Bing mtf here - res life handled my case really well here. I had a bad experience at my last college so thankfully I had my name change completed by the time I transferred and came here stealth. The only issue I had was that they won't give me a new email address, which uses the first letter of my old name so it's a little confusing.

Try to find someone high up to talk about your problems with. Ask around the LGBT organization on campus. You have some legit concerns and the only way things will change is if you make enough noise to people who can do something.

Thanks a lot. I am an active member of UA's Pride Alliance and am known by certain higher ups on campus. I am using this as a prompt to cause an open dialogue. It has been submitted to the school paper with nigh guarantee that it will be ran. I just wanted to get this out over as many avenues as possible because it was suggested by my journalism professor. Thanks for the advice.
