It wasn't the story per se - I didn't get far enough in for that to be an advantage or a disadvantage. Nor was I concerned about the use of the characters. It was just the execution. It was flowing along well enough, and then it became crude and clumsy in an instant and failed to recover quickly enough to hold my interest.
For me, poor execution will kill even the best of narratives.
that makes sense, that was clumsy - i skimmed past till the thread picked up agian, i don't remember it being that long, but I am generally forgiving as a reader. It was overall interesting :)
