Today, I rode my bike home from work, like I do most every day that is a work day. I stopped by the gas station to use their free air pump to fill my tires. They were both getting a little low, especially the back, and now they're both a nice 80 psi or so

but how much idle time is one turn of the key worth? if you turn your car off for 5 minutes then turn it back on, that's probably a waste, but if he turned his car off for an hour, he would probably have saved some gas.

I always wonder about that when people say it saves to leave something on rather than turning it on and off... it's completely dependent on how long you leave it off for, but people act like it's an immutable law of physics.
