Gods could be too arrogant. Such was the case of SHODAN, who had turned the Pods into a nightmarish zone where she could freely amuse herself and torture those that had come here

Level 4 - City LevelthesystemshockDecember 30 2011, 02:05:50 UTC
The City was huge and wide. There were many power dampers and it might take time to undo them all. Crewmen scrambled from one area into another, sometimes powered up by the ones that had been cleared, sometimes suddenly finding themselves powerless again.
It was going to make for an interesting battle--hey what was that sound of bells in the air?

Are you implying Alendian needs any other warning? How rude. Either way, to keep inertia from dragging her off the bike, she clamped her leg armor to the vehicle so she would fly off.
To be fair, she left the machine a haywire grenade as a departing present. This way, they wouldn't follow mindlessly, as robots were prone to do.
The haywire grenade had its expected effect (hurray, technology!), demolishing most of its targets and disabling others. On the other hand, all the commotion was drawing some unwanted attention. As the bike sailed back onto solid ground, several of the rolling Droidekas began racing toward them, moving to cut them off.
There was a brief pause, because now there were Droidekas coming at them from behind as well. Then Zouichi turned sharply, sending the bike into a spin. From the front of the vehicle, where the coil gun was mounted, a searing beam of energy suddenly lanced outward, changed into an arc by the motion of the bike's spin. The beam decimated the crowd of robots as well as the front of a few buildings, sending glass and metal and pointy bits flying everywhere.
It was horrible and/or fantastic, depending on whether or not you enjoyed massive property damage or were a robot. The arc completed, Zouichi straightened them out and sped off once more. "Tell me if you spot any dampeners," he said.
Alendian peeked up and the targeting systems in her helmet scanned the area. If there was something up there, it wasn't going to escape the power of Eldar technology.
Give Alendian a second as she teleports up there and slaps another grenade on it. Mechanical things should be destroyed properly, after all. Before it goes off, she returns to the bike.
Explosions! Also, Zouichi looked briefly back at Alendian before returning his attention back to the road. She might not be able to feel the change, but he can; it's as though a weight's been lifted from his limbs.
"A handy device," he remarked, using his pistol to make a Sharkticon's head disappear.

"Zouichi!"
Ludicrous speed had returned to Allenby, and she was taking full advantage of it. She'd even managed to put together a beam ribbon, albeit a crude one of dubious lifespan, and now she was using it to lay into any and all robots she found.
She'd seen the murders in the pod caverns. Even if there hadn't been any Gundam Fighters among them, it made her entire soul burn in rage. So when she saw Z, she immediately ran towards him. "Can you gimme a lift? I gotta go tear that SHODAN limb-from-limb!"

Allenby hopped right onto the back of the bike. "Ya don't know where her core unit is, do ya? I'd really like to go there, but if ya don't then wherever the most robots are'll be fine." She tightened her grip on the ribbon's handle. "I saw what she did to the pods."

Alendian did nudge Zouichi, trying to get his attention. "What do you plan on doing about those?"
By 'those', she meant the Droidekas, of course.
