Zouichi assumed that he'd see a few acquaintances while he and Ildraniath set off on their investigation into the City. Maybe even a few people who'd been mentally displaced, like he had, and were now trying to negotiate having two minds currently crammed into a body used to taking orders from only one.

Ildraniath very grumpily reigned in the desire to call out a greeting and, after a moment of consideration, did it anyway. It was polite, after all. Even if she did appreciate Zouichi's restraint in not taking over her body.

"Alendian. Are you well?"

No...no she wasn't. Having a militant ape stuck in her head wasn't exactly what she would call being well. Zouichi might be compliant but Erhart would never be compliant unless she was off killing heretic or other xenos, she supposed.

"No. There is a....thing inside my head."

"No! I am not!" She'll suddenly bellow, animated by Erhart for a moment.

"This sorcery has entrapped me within this witch! I can never be pure again."

Wait. Zouichi knew that belligerent bellow. Er, even if it was coming out of Alendian and not an eight-foot tall knight in powered armor.
