Shady Solitude [Open!]

Kara Zor-El stepped out of the small Kryptonian temple to Rao and walked back onto the...could she call it a street? She wasn't sure. She'd privately nicknamed this place Religion Row, though, because of all of the houses of worship. She brushed back a lock of her impossibly shiny golden blonde hair, noticing that the more she was away from the ( Read more... )

And speaking of...

Brainiac 5 had decided to take a look around what else there was available of the ship and the city was one of the last places he'd made a note to stop by, due to its size. Flying made things much easier there, though for the most part there isn't much that catches his attention.

A Kryptonian building does, however.

He flies down to investigate before he notices Kara nearby and makes a detour to land near her.

"Supergirl," he says with a trace of a smile. He glances back at the building. "It seems to be Kryptonian in design, correct? Is that why you're here?"

Kara's eyes had flared red when she first saw the green-skinned blonde-haired form approaching her. Realizing that it was Robo-Brainy, her eyes resumed their usual blue hue. She offered him a friendly smile. "Yeah. It's a temple to Rao. You know, the Kryptonian god? I...only just found it. It felt nice to go inside. Almost...like being home again."

He notices the flare of heatvision and it makes him step back quickly, smile disappearing as he wonders if he did something wrong. Then it's gone and Kara smiles at him, which leads him to conclude that he's not the one she has the problem with.

And with there only being one other green-skinned, blond-haired person on the ship, it isn't hard to imagine who she must be angry with. He files away the information to ask about later.

"It is? But... it can't be the one from Kandor... Can it?"

"Honestly?" Kara looks at it and then back at Brainy. "I'm not sure. It's a lot like it, but my memories of Krypton are already shaky as it is, you know? Being in suspended animation does that to you. But...it's close enough. It feels Kryptonian. That helps." She pats the seat next to him, offering him a seat.

Pirogoeth had found a temple like the one back home, the most famous temple with offerings and place of prayer for all seven of the goddesses. However, while she did believe in them completely, it was interesting to learn what was so on other worlds.

The crystal temple had been seem particularly interesting and she decided to take a look inside. To see what sort of gods they had, a way to learn a bit about the world.

She didn't expect to see someone there, looking to be distressed. She hesitated. Did they want comfort or would it be better to leave them alone?

Kara's hearing picked up the sound of someone very close by. She looked up from her lap and tilted her head a little, using her telescopic vision to get a better look at who it was in the temple. It was a figure she didn't recognize but still, to be friendly, the young woman waved.

She was responding to outsiders. That means she wasn't going for total isolation. Pirogoeth raised a hand in greeting, walking over to the girl. "Hello," she greeted.

Nope. She was just taking a break from a certain green skinned, arrogant, jerk-faced superhero. Besides, socialization outside of her regular circles might do Kara some good. "Hi," Kara greeted, rearranging her face into a smile. "I'm Kara," she said, introducing herself.
