Compared to yesterday where the sensoriums had gotten so much use, Lash was glad that it was mostly quiet as she slipped into a free one. The day had passed relatively quickly thanks to running mazes, but even that hadn't gotten her as joyful as she should be, as strange and exciting as it had been

It happened to be unfortunate luck that Jinx would wander into the Sensorium at just the wrong moment. A scream and she was knocked into the air by the explosion. Instinct kicked in and she adjusted her flight path in the air hoping to land on her feet.

"What the hell is this treachery?" She shouted and blasted back with a wave of pink hex magic at the offending grunts.

Jinx's face notably hardened "Well yes, as much as it pains me. The Teen Titans live in that tower right there." She pointed. "I took it over once. Threw out the entire team."

Oh sweet rivalries! Hey, Lash had her share of that with Sonja.

"I didn't realize you knew them. So I guess that's you, Starfire and Beastboy that come from that world."

Pause.

"...how is the tower? Beastboy described it as a 'pretty sweet pad'."

"Eh...it was alright. But they could use alot of improvements. Hardly any real weapons, and half the rooms were just empty waiting for ideas! And sitting there in the middle of the bay was like drawing a target on themselves for villains. My theory is they put it there as a "comfort" to the citizens and hoping that foolish villains would attack them out there instead of drawing them into town."

It was difficult for Jinx to be objective.

"Where as OUR base was nice a subtle, deep underground, plenty of space for additions but we had all the facilities a growing band of super villains would need.

And the next few images were of a lair that would make evil genius, mad scientist or world hungry dictator proud. It wasn't completely professional, but for a group of teenagers who stole most of their equipment it was a A+.

"Needs a lava pool."

Lash was very objective about the finer details you see.

"So you guys were the other side then. And you banded together? I thought only Black Hole did that, from hearing stories about others. Since villains tend to do the whole 'lone wolf' aspect or simply aren't able to work together efficiently."

"I wouldn't say we were "Efficient" Jinx sighed reflecting on the many MANY reasons why she left the team to do some thinking. "But we had some good times."

When the Titans didn't stop them that is.

Lash could relate to good guys stopping her, and saving her life.

"Good times? Now this I gotta hear." It's not like Beastboy told stories from a villain's perceptive so this could be interesting.

"Ah you know...we had our good times." As Jinx took a stroll down memory road there were flashbacks to her and her team, sometimes there were only two boys, other times there were four. They were robbing malls, a bank vault full of gold, a laboratory full of high tech computers. And in each scene the Titans showed up (And in Jinx's edit they lost to her team).

One of the final secenes was earlier in their career, she looked younger and her two main partners were there. A short bald little loudmouth and a brute with mullet hair and massive muscle. They were mopping the floor with Beastboy's team, knocking him into a trash can, sending their leader tumbling into the sewers and darkness below the city and taking over their tower.

"Good times." She sighed peacefully.

She took all of that information in before saying anything.

"So...what would you say if they came out now?"

Jinx pondered it for a minute. Last she'd seen the group they were goofing off and having fun, but she had left to contemplate her life.

"Honestly? I don't know. I guess I'd make sure they understood what was going on. Before Stacy saved me I was thinking of leaving the team because it was fun, but it wasn't getting me the respect I wanted."

"Aww I had all the respect from inventing stuff," Lash offered. "Then again, Kindle was a dumb stupid face who could only think about her dumb stupid face and that's why she tried to kill us. Too bad for her that we completely destroyed Black Hole once we switched sides."

Jinx smirked, "Well I like to think that my team respected me, but I wanted to be big time you know? I wanted super villains to know my name, to want to be me." She sighed, "Without me to lead them they'll probably get busted in a week."

"Yeap, that's usually what happens with minions that don't have a leader..." she would have pointed to the carnage of her own scene, but they weren't there anymore.

"They were never cut out for big leagues. Couldn't understand the value of hard work. Sometimes it really is just easier to wash your hands, clean the slate and start from scratch I guess." Which was more or less encouraging Jinx to stay the coarse and continue in her quest to be a respectable skillful thief that all would fear!

"Never thought about going solo, honestly," Lash answered. "I felt my skills were better with a set of directives. Even if it was just 'build me that!'" She shrugged. "Sides with the ship I get plenty of building and doing crazy stuff so I can't complain." Apart from the fact she had been brooding.

"Oh that's a load." Jinx grinned cheekily, "We're girls...at least I think you're a girl. And girls can ALWAYS find things to complain about. It feels good to get it off your chest...so to speak." Yes that was a crack about how they were both rather "petite" in that department.
