And what happens to Frank 'Doc' DuFresne when he is left to his own devices? He decides that searching for the Medical Bay before he tries to get Grif and Tex to get along mostly, so he doesn't have to patch the resulting injuries that will eventually happen. It didn't take long for Doc to find it.

She hadn't been there for more than a minute or two before she realized there was someone else who'd just come in. Lam blinked and glanced over at the man for a long, hesitant moment. This wasn't exactly her usual...facilities.

"I don't suppose there's a training manual for this place, is there?" she asked with a rueful smile and an offered hand. "Doctor Carolyn Lam."

He saw the other person who he smiled at. At least someone was in here, that made things easier. He would like to have someone else besides Grif and Tex to talk to, despite his happiness at seeing them.

He offered his hand. "Hi, there. I'm Frank DuFresne, but some of the guys at back home called me Doc. Either is good."

"Too many Docs," she murmured, taking his hand and shaking firmly. "Frank it'll have to be if you don't mind. You may call me Carolyn or Lam...or Doctor Lam, if you want. Nice to meet you." She let go and pursed her lips as she took in the medical bay and its surroundings.

"This is...definitely not what I'm used to."

"Oh, that's perfectly fine. To be honest, I'm a medic not a doctor, but it looks like thats something that'll come in handy around here."

He took a moment to look around as well. "It's kind of new to me too, most ships I've been in aren't alive."

Doctor McNinja is sitting on one of the rolly-chairs, staring at his datapad with a look of 'oh dear god' on his face. He's been researching horrible space diseases. Again. (Just typing in 'horrible space diseases' gets him HOURS of fascinating reading, actually.)

He looks up when someone else wanders in then and gives the newcomer a pretty cheerful wave.

"Oh, hey there!"

He's smiling, you just can't see it through the mask.

As Doc heard the other voice, he turned and saw a rather oddly-dressed man wearing a black mask.

"Hi there! I'm Frank DuFresne."

"Dr. McNinja, nice to meet you."

He stuck out a friendly hand.

"Are you new medical staff or just new to the ship in general?"
