In the aftermath of the battle at Lirath, Stacy had been severely damaged. Though she still eventually managed to build up enough power to resume course, she was obviously struggling, her pace far slower than normal. She could barely even manage to directly address those who needed to speak with her, instead allowing the more monotone voice of the

But, that wasn't why Sasami was here. Not by a long shot. She wanted answers of her own. She can "hear" Tsunami prodding her on, to approach one of them and find out what's going on.
Brave face, Sasami. They may not answer you if you seem scared. Sasami thought to herself as she attempted to steel herself and approach one of the Daligig.
"E-Excuse me. Can I ask a question?" she said, wishing she hadn't stammered.

"Yes?" Rekkti replied. "How can I help you?"

"Um... I don't know if you can answer this, but..." Sasami began before letting out a deep breath to calm herself. "...I just want to know why? I understand that we were chosen and all, but, if we were, then how come some of us were affected worse than others?"
She tried her best to look up at Rekkti as she continued. "There's a part of me that could have ended this war easily and yet, a lot of that is gone a-and I didn't even realize that until something here tried to kill me."
"If we're here to save everyone, why hold that back?"

"Look, I don't really know all the details," she said, "but there are a lot of people among the Daligig that...honestly, they don't really know if they can trust any of you. And all of you gathered here, with all that power...it's dangerous, according to them. Sure, you could wipe out the Ohm easily, but at the same time, how could anyone be sure that you all couldn't just turn around and start doing what the Ohm did?"
She sighs.
"Look, it's not a great explanation, but you have to understand, no one wants to take any chances with this. If it were up to me, I would have you all fighting at full force. But I can't, so all I can do is follow my orders as they are."

"I'm...not privy to all the details. A lot of the Transmigration Project is highly classified. But from what I've been told, many of the Chosen attempted a mutiny. Most were sent back to the pods, but in the initial conflict, some of them were unfortunately killed."

She hung slightly behind Leon, listening to the exchange as it got both interesting and annoying at the same time.

She wouldn't get answers from them. Hell, she might even land herself in the brig again, or worse. Instead, she headed towards the soldiers. How much they actually knew, Allenby didn't know, but she was going to try and get at least one question answered.
"Hey there."

Yeah, no, she wasn't going to bother being sneaky. "So how long've you been a soldier for these Daligig guys?"

"Looks like the captain went over like a led balloon with your boss," he commented, a small smile tugging at his lips before he continued.
"It's mostly about the things we've found on the ship--that I've found. First. . .zombies. Multiple types that got free and ended up killing several thousand people from the pods. Second, we found these creatures called Reavers locked up below the city." He kept his gaze locked on his hers, voice firm, even a little grim.
"Those I know you'll explain as potential weapons against the Ohm. At least that's my hunch. I mean, after all, fight fire with fire, right?" His tone of voice indicated that he couldn't disagree more with that statement.
"But then there's the Yeerks. Who are anything but a good weapon. Who are a danger to themselves, to the people aboard the ship, to people off the ship. Why keep them around? A race known to hostile and expansive."

"But from what we've seen, these crews occasionally became...overzealous. They tried too much, stretched themselves too far, and picked up things they couldn't control. It is unfortunate, but these things can't be changed."
