Stargazing Take 2 [Open]

Feldt had been in the hangar for quite a while. She had managed to get the parts that she needed to repair the Celestial Being Gundams, but it had taken her a long time to do it. Sure, she had the Meister's help, but they didn't have the swarm of Haros that they had back on the Ptolemy. The Haros were good with repairs, especially with the ( Read more... )

For once, Sasami was glad to be back on the ship and in one piece. The trip to deal with the Tapestry was an interesting one and she was glad that she didn't have to fight.

As she wandered through the Spacewalk, she spotted Feldt nearby. It had been quite awhile since she last saw her, so curiosity got the better of her.

"Hi!" she called out approaching her, not realizing she kinda wanted to be left alone for a bit.

She remembered meeting Sasami one day in the hangar. She had been so interested in the red Haro that had been helping her run some tests on the Gundams. She looked over at the younger girl and smiled a little bit.

"Hello," she said in greeting.

Sasami stopped just a short distance from Feldt, returning the smile.

"Do you mind if I join you?" she asked

She nodded. She didn't mind the company. Sasami wasn't one of the pilots that she saw a lot in the hangar. The young girl reminded her of Mileina, bright and cheery no matter what happened.

"The stars are so beautiful."

Setsuna had been helping her repair the other Gundams, though the 00 Raiser still remained a wreck, as per his request. Exia was entirely functional, though, so he could still fight. Whether or not he should be fighting was something else all together.

But that was something he didn't want to think about now. Hence why Setsuna had taken a walk to clear his mind. While passing through the spacewalk, he ended up spotting Feldt.

In the past, on the Ptolemy, he might have simply quietly moved past her. At best there might have been a slight nod or a grunt of acknowledgment, but only if she had bother to acknowledge him first.

Now, though, he had headed over to her, making his presense known as he ended up standing next to her.

"Feldt Grace."

She still wasn't quite sure why he wanted her to not repair the 00 Raiser, but she at least made sure that the GN Drives were still in working condition. Even if the twin-drive suit wasn't working she wanted to make sure that they had back up drives in case one of the others in the other suits was destroyed.

"Setsuna," she said, looking over at him as he stood next to her. She was surprised, but didn't show it. Most of the time he would just nod at her and that would be that. She didn't mind the company. She really liked Setsuna, more than the other Meisters, but she hadn't told him yet. She wasn't sure if she would ever be able to.

Lockon once told him that the only thing in the past that can change... is how it makes you feel about things in the present. He had taken that to mean that history remains the same, you can't undo your mistakes, but how you view those memories can inform the present and guide the choices you make.

Of course, that all took on a new meaning with his head being as messed up as it now was. Something in his past had changed, and he didn't know what. But whatever it was changed how he felt about her.

But changed how, and into what, exactly, he didn't know. And he had no idea how to find out. It was like trying to piece together a jigsaw puzzle, but having no idea what the finished product should look like, or how many pieces there are. Where do you even begin?

"Am I intruding?"

She shook her head a little bit. She didn't mind the company at all. Neither one of them were very talkative, preferring to let actions speak for them instead of words. His actions were piloting a Gundam while hers were making sure they ran properly and help coordinate them tactically.

"No, you're not. I was just watching the stars. We've worked hard to repair the Gundams. I just needed a break before finishing up," she said. She couldn't continue to push herself like she had been doing. She'd break and then they would be without a tactical coordinator.

Dhianeila recognized Feldt there straight away, when her projection appeared in the area. The blonde realized that despite their work together during their last mission, she had never gotten too many open chances to actually speak to and get to know her.

So over she floated, speaking when she came close enough for the girl to hear. "Hello. Feldt, right?"

She was surprised for a moment to hear the voice of the Princess. She nodded a bit and looked back at the stars for a moment before looking back at Dhianeila. "Yes, I'm Feldt Grace. You're Princess Dhianeila Y Leisha Altoria Ol Yunos. You were in the 00 Raiser with Setsuna F. Seiei during the last battle with the Ohm."

She almost sounded like Setsuna, there, with the way she addressed her. Dhianeila couldn't help but smile a little wider than the would have. "That's right. But please, just call me Dhianeila."

Dhianeila bowed at Feldt, after that. "I did accompany Setsuna during that battle. Thank you for the help you provided us during it."

She wasn't used to being thanked for doing her job. She was used to providing support for the Meisters. "It's what I do. I wanted everyone to come back safely. It was a hard battle."

She still didn't like how Setsuna had returned injured and with the 00 Raiser in such bad condition. At least they survived. They were still here to fight and she was glad.
