"From this hour I ordain myself loos’d of limits and imaginary lines" (Part 1 - Briefing)

Jun 15, 2011 16:10

A large group of crew members was gathered. In fact, given the mission briefing provided, it was curious that there'd be such a large number for a diplomatic mission.

People had a brief chance to talk before the briefing started.

[ooc: the usual mingling here, if you want.]

Zedd was one of the first to arrive, still a little out of it from his beach party. Frankly, it would have went a lot better had he not been intercepted by that girl.

For now, he opted to wait, seeing as this ship had called him for something important.

'Evils McNastythong'?!

"Oh, and I suppose knockoffs are even better?" Zedd retorted, more noting on those with the S-shield and not that he was a clone. "Go back to chasing girls, child!"

People also had a chance to ask Stacy questions.

Odd how Earthlike this Galilee was described to be. Equally odd how many of the crew were apparently being dispatched on this mission. Zouichi tapped one finger idly against his temple, considering. "What exactly is this 'advanced medical technology'? And exactly how hazardous are these humans?"

"As hazardous as they ever are, I'd imagine. Able to use weapons and a variety of powers or other innate traits to bring death or bodily harm. Oh, and they're incredibly tenacious," Ildraniath replied. "Although I too would like to know how advanced this medical technology is."

||The Galilean genegineers have in their possession medical technology that could potentially be used to revive individuals after all lifesigns have ceased, depending on the circumstances of their death. Anything short of total destruction of the brain could potentially be healed and reconstructed. The Galileans are very guarded about their medical knowledge and technology, but recent events on Galilee have caused them to open up negotiations with the GIA, and we are the closest GIA ship to Galilee at this time.||

||Regarding threat levels of the Galileans: the Galilean general populace is generally peaceful, but currently there is civil strife on Galilee between the government and fringe groups, and terrorist activity that could lead to potential mission hazards.||
