The bridge of the ship shown brilliantly, with every surface polished to a shine and the smiling admiring faces of the crew brightly worshiping the ground their beloved captain walked on

At first Daniel wasn't sure what he'd wandered into. Well, he knew what he was looking at, which was a bridge to a ship that didn't look like a part of Stacy. That was part of the problem: it was like a bridge of a ship inside the middle of another ship. He was certain that Stacy didn't have windows here, or that there should be a bridge right around here. Daniel took in the commander, the back of his head, before studying the rest of the crew. Maybe this was like the TARDIS. Bending dimensions inside an area?
Or some bizarre, psychic episode, because there was something funny about all this. Was it him or was the crew compromised of all women? And they all happened to be extremely attractive

Jayne felt a twinge of annoyance and he turned to glance at the newcomer with the same sort of face reserved for people who interrupted his drinking at the bar with idle chatter. "Thought I told the Gorram ship to lock that door."
To be fair...Jayne wasn't really sure if he had. He'd been playing "star ship captain" for a few hours now. Daniel should be grateful he walked in during one of the less lewd moments.
Yeah, it's probably a very good thing Daniel came when he did.
Gorram? Must be some sort of slang where "Captain Cobb" came from. It wasn't too hard to guess the meaning considering the context. Daniel was the picture of innocence when the man swung his gaze around to glare at him. Hey, it wasn't his fault the door wasn't locked.
"Guess it wasn't. Sorry." Daniel didn't actually sound all that sorry. Maybe if he'd witnessed something incredibly profound, or sad, or personal in that private kind of way, but this had been...well, it had been something else. "Special" was one way to describe it. Probably the politest way he could. He had plenty of other words he was thinking of before he'd use that one.
The archaeologist pretended to look around as if noticing the "ship's" structure for the first time. "So... what is this?" Daniel asked, although he was pretty sure about a few of the facts by now.
"The hells it look like?" Jayne snapped as the crew went about their business ignoring the men and their exchange. They had their duties and unless their beloved Commander struck this newcomer they would leave them be.
If a fight did break out they would naturally cheer on their beloved and swoon at his ability.
"We're going over there to get our loot and make sure anyone on board knows just how stupid it was to even think about messing with me."
Fantasy was so much more complicated when you had to explain it to someone sober.
