"Hey you," Hit Girl said, finally having the wig on, but walking with a noticeable limp. She still had yet to receive medical attention right away, it being more of a pride thing than anything else. She was in pain and preferred to remember that she would wear her injuries proudly, though not for too much longer,

"Did you get involved in the fight too?"

[hit_girl_mindy]

"Yeah well, here's hoping," Hit Girl said. "It's not like anyone can predict what to expect half the time in this place. All I can say is to get ready: chances are, with the new pop, we're gonna have a host of more problems in the works."

Ronnae sighed, looking down thoughtfully.

"I really wish we were getting less problems and more helpfulness from the pop... I'd hate compromising our mission further when we just had a step in the right direction..."

[hit_girl_mindy]

"Of course we're going to get more problems, not less, when it comes to a pod pop," Hit Girl said. "You have these insane aliens going around slaughtering people for no reason and destroying planets, and Stacy just hgrabs who she thinks show the most promise and pop 'em here. Then they have all this trauma about being here in the first place, the natural distrust towards everyone, and then the hissy fits when someone does something seems totally normal in their world but offends this other bastard here. Pod pops just bring people here. I hate saying something this fucking cliche, but it actually takes US to bring people together."

Ronnae groaned, remembering all too well what a horrible experience pod pop was for her. Matter-o-fact, if it hadn't been for Sasami, she would have lost it.

She let out a sigh and looked down in thought. Things just keep getting better and better.

[hit_girl_mindy]

"You could even do that," Hit Girl said. "I mean, these pod popped are going to be pretty zonked when thy get out. They need to be reassured, but most importantly, they need to know what the fuck is going on, what they're sighing up for. This isn't a temporary adjustment, this isn't a bad dream. It's real, all of it, and they need to realize they are a part of what happens to everything from here on in."

"Hopefully it won't be to crazy this time around. I have something important to do that day and I'd hate to have it ruined because things get out of hand with the new pops." In fact, she would be opposed to smacking some sense into some... but not really, she's too nice.

She shrugged. "I'll be checking out the pod pops. You never know when a real nut is gonna pop out and have to be put in their place. What do you have to do that's so important, though?"

She looked down a bit embarrassed, "It's... p-personal... B-but don't worry, I'll make sure t-to be there after I'm done."

Hit Girl gave her an appraising look. "Riiight. Well, keep in touch then. I gotta talk to Sasami again when she wakes up."

Christ, hormones. She hoped she wasn't like this when she got older.

"Will do. Take care and tell her I said to take it easy and get better~" She gave Hit Girl a curt nod and smiled, relaxing back to rest some herself.
