Tana had ended up, during her walk around the ship, inside weapons and possessions. There was a little locker with her things in it, and she hadn't really gone through them there. She tossed them into her purse, and brought them to the obs deck for further inspection

Having finished her Security duties for the day, Jeka set upon her self-assigned mission to locate Superboy's first girlfriend and introduce herself. It would certainly make keeping an eye on her easier.

After a little bit of searching (and a brief wish that her Brainy was still awake so that she could have him try to locate Tana Moon's omnicomm), she finally found the human on the Obs Deck, playing with some sort of electronic device. She double-checked the picture that Kon had given her to confirm, then tucked her omnicomm away.

It still took her a few moments to get up the nerve to approach.

"Excuse me," she began politely, "you are Tana Moon, correct?"

"There are plenty of things to do that won't earn Violations," Jeka agreed as they reached Engineering. She ducked inside, and seeing that no one was currently free, went and retrieved an omnicomm and a few different sizes of rings so that Tana could have one that fit properly.

"Here you go," she said, presenting her with the omnicomm. "The identification set-up is fairly straight-forward. Do you have a preference on a finger for the ring?"

Tana looked down at her right hand, as she took the omnicomm with her left, "Ring finger, I guess, it seems like it wouldn't get in the way there." This was going to take some getting used to, and in the back of her mind, Tana couldn't help but feel a little like she was being gently moved along.

Not better time to adapt than the present, right? "So, do you have any hobbies?" Not that Tana could imagine what kind of hobbies a half-snake lady could have. Knitting? Hula? A collection of Hawaiian shirts?

It took Jeka less than a moment's thought to remember which finger was the ring finger and offered a ring that looked to be the appropriate size. "If that one doesn't fit, I have others," she says.

She shrugged in response to Tana's question. "I read a lot. Spend time on the roof of the bath house where it's warm. I'm not terribly interesting at this point in time, really."
