A recent walk through the hangar had confirmed to Jamie that the TARDIS had been put back into whatever place it was that Stacy stored ships when their owners were in the pods. Overall, it didn't make too much difference - none of them had been able to get into it anyway. Still, he had liked to slip away from time to time just to take a look at it

Turlough walked up the TARDIS and gave it a hard kick. Which he reflected after he let out a Trion curse, wasn't terribly wise and quite painful.

He had just been about to turn away to go see what else he could remember using from the console when he caught a glimpse of another crew member, just as the other man gave the TARDIS a good, hard kick. Jamie frowned, irrationally annoyed by the gesture. He moved around to throw the lever that would open the doors leading outside.
A moment later, a rather annoyed looking Scotsman stuck his head out from the blue doors and scowled at Turlough. "Hey, what do ye think ye are doing?"

He folded his arms against his chest. "What made ye decide to go and do that, anyway?"

And sometimes a prank on a friend wasn't a bad idea either. Alex could only think of one person who would have the TARDIS in the sensoriums. Jamie.
With sensorium-made gloves, Alex packed up a few snow balls and pushed open the door to the TARDIS, calling out, "Jamie?"

He's so caught up in searching that he fails to notice Alex approach until his name is called. Glancing up from the chest, he turns towards the direction of the sound with a slightly puzzled look on his face.
"Hey?"

"Hey!"
He should have expected it, really, when he decided to stick the TARDIS in the middle of a field of snow. Right. Challenge accepted.
"Oh, I see. Let's find out how much ye like it, then!
Quickly, Jamie makes a dash for the still-open doors, all the better to get outside and getting some snow of his own for retaliation. It's a risky move - depending on how many snowballs Alex has, Jamie could get well-pelted before he gets outside. And yes, he could think up more snow inside the TARDIS, but where's the fun in that?

The ice crunches nicely under her feet, all the way up to the wooden box. Kaylee is unsure of where exactly to start, and runs a hand over the wooden panels a couple times before doing the silly thing and knocking.

Caught up in trying to figure it out, it takes him a moment for him to notice the knocking. Once it finally gets his attention, though, he glances up at the monitor and a broad smile appears. Just the person he wants to see! Going over to the lever that opens the doors, he pulls it and they start to swing open.
As they do so, he steps to the side and out of the way of an immediate glance from someone coming in. If anyone deserves a chance to simply gawk at the inside of the TARDIS without Jamie getting in the way, it's Kaylee.

Several seconds are spent with Kaylee simply standing there in mildly confused awe. A hand comes up to double check that it really is just a small wooden box before she tentatively steps inside, glancing at Jamie as she does so. She pauses halfway through the door to double-check the outside again, then gives Jamie an excited grin and moves forward quickly to the central panels.
"She always like this, or just in here? What's she runnin' on? What's this do..." Kaylee trails off, head disappearing to check under the panels.

There's certainly enough things under the panels to get her attention, what with the various parts the Doctor's got hooked up down there - not to mention the panel containing the emergency unit that wound up sending them to the Land of Fiction. A lot of the wiring is still a bit of a cat's cradle to Jamie, but it should prove fascinating for the mechanic. There's also a handle down there if she needs it to hold on to, although he doesn't think she does, since they're not moving.
"Now, look, I'll not be able to answer your questions if ye keep asking them that fast," he says, dryly. "Which one do ye want me to start with?"
