When he had decided to relax a little and read a bit, he hadn't expected someone to come along with him, such as one of his newer friends. So deciding to make a day of it, Ed had created a simulation in the sensoriums of Central, and had come up with a little cafe that had been recommended to him

"Of course it's alright!" Asuna replied, inviting herself along for one simple reason - to get the hell OVER...someone! Basically, she didn't want to feel this way anymore and only planned on feeling anything for him in a more protective sisterly manner.

"Thanks for letting me come along; I thought you were going out with someone else." If that was indeed the case, she'd REALLY feel like the last single girl onboard!

Asuna swung her sword in a style she'd learned from Setsuna back home, the blade cleaving through at least two smoky enemies before she decapitated a third one behind her while launching a kick at a fourth who'd gotten too close to her personal space.

"I like your sword style," remarked Ed as he struck out at several more, ducking back from an overhead strike and cleaving upwards, segmenting it in half.

"Thanks! Took me a while to get it down, but it gets the job done." Asuna replied, leaping over one and waiting until it turned around before literally bringing the hammer down, slicing it in half. "Yours is pretty awesome, too!"

"Ah well if anything I'm a fast learner," said Ed, thrusting the blade behind him and spearing a shadow through the chest, withdrawing it as he spun it upwards and slashed down a opponent coming at him as he kicked out.

With a light nod, Asuna threw her sword in a boomerang-like arc to cleave through a group of shadows en route while putting her hands together and combining magical power from her left with magical chi from the right.

"...Think you could learn that? I doubt you can learn this! KANKAHO!!!" A beam of bright energy shot from her hands into another group that came her way, holding her hand up to catch the returning blade hilt-first.

"So didn't think I would be able to get that...!"

"Wow," said Ed, suitably impressed as he cleaved another and leaped to a higher position, parrying a few strikes from shadow claws. His other arm telescoped outwards as it flipped into gun position and he fired several blasts, careful to take aim precisely. "This'll do for me."

"Wanna walk already?" Asuna turned her sword into a fan and started smacking away any remaining shadows near her while watching Ed fire in a manner that reminded her of a certain sniper!student.

"Hmm? Naw I meant the cannon," chuckled Ed as he neatly fired a few blasts and then returned his weapon to arm form. "Sorry I'm never clear."

"By the way, down!" exclaimed Ed as he aimed a blow above Asuna's head.

"Let's just hope you never dye your hair; I'd have to kick your ass if you became a brunette." Instead of ducking, Asuna leaped to the side not only to avoid Ed's attack but to cleave another approaching shadow.

Ed grinned at Asuna, his eyes alight with exhilarated glee. "Don't worry: the gold hair and eyes are one of my trademarks."

He passed by Asuna, reaching for her arm so he could spin around with her in a cleaving swing.

"...That your way of asking me to dance, Ed?" Asuna felt her cheeks heat up unexpectedly while using her free hand to cleave the other shadows on her side.

Ed grinned as he took her hand and pulled her close, spinning around in a wicked dance of blades and metal as he chuckled. "Maybe?" he asked coyly.

Barely even watching as their blades took down shadow after shadow, Asuna's attention was almost entirely focused on Ed, the girl feeling her heart skip a beat once realizing how close he was. "...You're just a big a baka as Negi sometimes, you know?"

"I've been known to be an idiot for a while," chuckled Ed as he finished off the last of the shadow monsters. "It's apparently one of my charms."

Internally he wondered where he got so smooth.

"Really? You've got charm? I didn't notice." As the scenery changed back to the usual setting for the sensoriums, Asuna felt her weapon vanish as she gazed into Ed's eyes.

"Trademark hair and eyes, huh...?"
