Matt opened the door and he hurriedly brushed his long shaggy hair away from his face before opening the door fully. "Ah, just cleaning up a little," said Matt as he stepped aside to let Hay Lin fully into the private study. "C'mon in."

Matt had looked like he had seen better days, dressed in a t-shirt and a pair of shorts as he padded on bare feet towards the fireplace that had been replaced with a pair of open windows due to the Bus's magic. There was another couple of chairs in the study, perfect for reading due to the position of the light, and sitting between them, a self-contained tea set was whistling as Matt removed it from the heating pad.

One could tell he hadn't been sleeping well for a while, due to his appearance and general way he shuffled his feet.

Hay Lin nodded while making her way inside, the girl dressed in her usual style of flashy clothes and a broad smile evident on her face. She sat down in one of the chairs almost immediately, looking around the study with a sense of awe and curiosity shown in her eyes.

"Soooo, what's the what Mr. Sleepyhead?"

Matt chuckled. "To be honest I just look worse than I do right now," he admitted, brushing his messy hair away before pouring two cups and adding cream and sugar. "I've been doing my job on the council, talking long hours with Stacy and inquiring on possible avenues. Since I'm the head, I need to help as best as I can."

"Though admittedly, getting up tonight and discovering Will had been repodded was not the way I had planned," admitted Matt as he put two cubes of sugar into Hay Lin's cup. He knew she liked it sweet. "I've sealed up her room for now, too many memories, but I'll let you and Irma go through her stuff and clean up with me."

"I think as the head, you can help the council best by having a clear head, not having rings around the rosies - or your eyes - and getting some much needed sleep!" Hay Lin eagerly took the cup and sipped it a few times, cheeks flushing deeply when hearing that she and Irma would go through Will's stuff.

"...Just let us know when you'll need us, and we'll be there! Do you know how or why it happened, or just that it did happen?"
