Dean had stepped in to watch. Only for a moment, but it was enough to reach the depths where he had buried it all. And bring it to light. Just for a moment

"I'd been wondering where you were." Mei-Xing had decided to give him until morning, she'd seen him arrive to the display, then leave. She gives him a friendly little grin, offering a clay bottle of vodka through the window. "You look like drek. C'mon, this'll warm you up some."
Wordlessly he looked at her, and then accepted the booze with a nod of thanks. He opened the bottle, and downed half of it in several gulps. He coughed a few times after swallowing, and wiped his mouth with the back of his sleeve. There were times like this where he just didn't want to speak much, he would just fold up into himself.
"Careful not to kill yourself." She settles in mid-air, crossing her legs on the levitation spell keeping her up. "We're gonna need you in a little bit, like it or not."
He tossed her a black look at that, and drank more of the vodka. Granted Dean was often borderline most times as it was, but he didn't need it being pointed out.
A small black cat crept into the house, ears canted out to the side. Her tail, normally held high, drug the ground. It felt like a large hairball had lodged itself in her throat, and refused to come up no matter how she hacked at it.
Wordlessly, she jumped up next to Dean and curled in a tight ball up against his chest. She had trusted Stacy. She had been happy when Arhu was awoken from the pods. Now... now she almost wished he had stayed asleep. Had he even been there to witness? She didn't know.
Rhiow pressed her ears flat against her skull and pulled her paws over her nose like it would block out the universe.
he's actually in the Hangar and in the car, but it's ok.notadamnangelNovember 12 2010, 18:13:31 UTC
Dean almost startled when he saw the dark furry streak jump up on him, but he then set his weapons a little to the side as to not hurt her. His hand reached out to gently stroke her fur, and curled close to her silently. He was still shaking a little as he held her, but the offer of comfort was appreciated as he tried to block out the images of hell from his mind.

The comfort was mutual. Rhiow hadn't wanted to see a single second of that, and yet she had stayed for the whole thing... it was better to know than to linger on in ignorance.
"...How could she?" was what finally tumbled from her mouth when she mustered the power to speak. Stacy had been a solid presence - a solid, comforting presence - since she had arrived on the ship. One with a vested interest in protecting the crew, or so it had seemed.
He shook his head, "I don't know. She's one sick screwed up ship."
He was trying not to think about what happened, but he was barely paying attention as his green eyes gazed about dully. Hard to keep those thoughts in the here and now.
After Kaylee had managed to convince him that she'd be fine, Kang took his time heading out. On the way, he noticed a dark shape inside the Impala, and curious, he peeked inside.
It was Dean.
And, he didn't look like he was in a good state of mind.
Dean slumped in his seat, and wiped a hand over his face before silently nodding. He didn't know what to say, or how even now the memories and nightmares weren't leaving his head.
A dark, strange shape moved past the Impala not long after Dean had closed himself in it. Toothless had never seen such a thing-- it was black and gleaming and had strange eyes but smelled only of metal and grease and all things foreign to the dragon. The Night Fury crept silently around the perimeter of the car, unawares that there was a distressed Winchester inside.
Don't look now, Dean, there's a dragon outside your window.
Dean was so paranoid and tense that he already thought he was being watched. His eyes darted back and forth, and his grip tightened on his gun. He leaned toward the window, trying to make out what his gut was swearing up and down was out there.
...aaaand I'ma hit bed since I work at ass o-clock tomorrow. =__=;hasnoteefsNovember 13 2010, 06:04:06 UTC
This was likely a very bad time for Toothless to angle himself closer and sniff at the back window of the car. Thankfully he hadn't touched it, yet, but he was all stretched out and elongated with his neck craned forward to sniff at the rear windshield of it.
Sorry to make the paranoia worse there, Dean. He doesn't mean it, really.
Sam had been there too. He'd watched. He'd been disgusted and horrified by it, the same as...probably most of the ship.
But most of all, he'd seen the way Dean had taken it. And it didn't take a genius to figure out what was wrong. He also knew that Dean wouldn't really appreciate being watched overtly at the moment.
It was a couple hours later that Sam arrived at the Impala, figuring there were few enough places Dean would have gone. He was glad to see him in the back seat and let out a breath before knocking on the passenger's side window. Enough to maybe wake Dean up. Or at least let him know that the person about to open the door wasn't a threat.
It was their home, a point of comfort on long rides. Why Dean felt grounded sitting in there, a reminder that Hell was only memories now.
He twitched a little at the knocking, and turned his head. Upon seeing his brother, he relaxed but also felt a bit ashamed. Now Sam was going to thinlk he's still weak. He wiped a hand over his face before reaching over to open the door.
Sam opened the door once Dean spoke and recognized him, dropping into his usual seat in the front. Wasn't going to make Dean move in the back seat, after all. "Yeah, it was something, all right." He felt a little green, honestly. Wasn't sure if that showed on his face or not. "Not that that gal isn't a bitch of the first order, man, but...nobody deserves that."
Dean was likewise still looking sick, or his stomach was still turning too much to think of food for a while. He re-settled more in the back seat again.
"Yeah, but she would have got that and more down there. Deserved or not, how it works." He replied, his eyes briefly looking far away. That's the thing, she wpould have been sent to the rack to be carved up.
A few moments later, he shook his head, "Guess that explains more where we are really. Stacy can pretend to all this mom shit, but she's still a bitch to anybody."

Cautiously, he tapped on the window.

He sighed, and lowered the weapon before leaning over to roll the window down.
"Yeah, Kang, what's up?"

"I'd ask if you were alright, but I already know the answer. You saw it?" he leaned down, an arm on the roof of the car. His voice was quiet, serious.

No, no....
THERE.
Eyes and a dark shape. He aimed his gun defensively to see if there was an attack.
