Scorpius has left the other two... three if one counts the symbiotic life form of one of them... to further explore and get his bearings.

He turns the corner... and freezes. This one... is very different.

Very different indeed.

Satisfied with his exploration of a particular doorway, the Doctor turned to continue on. Noticing the other figure, he blinked, then smiled. "Oh, hello! Didn't see you there. Haven't met up with the group yet, have you?"

The Doctor scratches the back of his neck. "I think it's sort of the group, actually. Large, lots of people, general milling about, the expected confusion. The usual."

"Hm?" The Doctor looked. Oh, it was the one they'd shot at. "Nah, no headvoices for me." He grinned, possibly a little strained, and tapping his head explained, "Just me in there. Sort of used to traveling with a friend, is all. Care to join me?"

The Doctor blinked twice, startled. Grinned, completely won over. "Y'know, I don't think I could have said it better myself. Though, don't forget the scientists. Not all of us are soldiers, you know. Some of us are simply geniuses!"

Turning more serious, he added, "I'd like to find my ship, and then find out what was going on. In that order. 'Course, doubt it'll work that way, but I'd prefer a way to get the less powerful people out before we start too much trouble, assuming we need to. I'm assuming we need to. Well, assuming they'd listen too, which is seeming unlikely. Not that they could pilot her anyway, mind."
