For once since being released, Shadow as free. No missions, no being stuck in the ship, no zombies, no mindscrews. Just the open air and the wind blowing past him. He could understand now how Sonic felt - it was nice to be free

Wow, there was a lot of sun, and this was not something that Alessa liked. For this reason, Alessa WOULD quickly duck into a shop and come out with a straw hat, dark sunglasses and applying tons of suntan lotion. Irritatingly, it would make no sense to wear Alessa's normal school uniform, so she decided to dress in the palest clothing she could find. It just so happen to also come with knee high socks, which suited Alessa fine. She may not have liked feeling too much heat, but exposing too much of her body was also ill suited for her.
Also, put her hair in pigtails, just to get the hair out of her way.
For now she's watching Shadow under a big umbrella, kicking idly in the sand. Also, for obvious reasons, she's in her human guise, looking grouchy.
There was much more to this world he wanted to see, a lot more just to enjoy. But at the moment, he opted to move closer to the beaches. Sure, he wasn't Sonic - a shame he wasn't here: he'd dunk him in the water - but it was nice to enjoy the view anyway.
Arriving at the beach, he couldn't help but notice Alessa hiding under an umbrella. A small chuckle left his lips.
"What's wrong? Can't take the heat?" Shadow asked, teasing.
"It's not the heat," Alessa grumbled. "It's the light. Everything is ridiculously lit, and its hard for me to see. Have you ever observed me in a sunny environment? There's a reason for that. Demons don't like the sun too much."
Which just made her grumpier, so she started to try making a castle, to no avail. "Drat. How do humans even make these things?"

Noticing Alessa trying to make a sand castle, he tilted his head a bit in thought. "I... think they use buckets... and water."
