Lex had been... well, keeping to himself since the Nightmare King incident. He had to reevaluate a number of things. He didn't plan on rejoining the crew proper until things suited him, but pouring his brandy out of the bottle and watching it go sideways, instead of down into the glass got him back in Neuropathy, at least.

Motoko was jacked in, curiously flickering through the dozens of barriers and mazed viral and anti-viral protections that had always been in place against such a person as her. This was the problem with cyborg systems that had redundant software- they itnerfered with each other in new and creative ways every time something went awry.
Not that she couldn't handle it, just that right now she was busy and couldn't be assed to talk to Lex as the screen flashed by too quickly for a fully human mind to follow. Good luck getting a word out of her, Lex.
Where did the GRAVITY go?!meatbabiesApril 19 2010, 22:08:46 UTC
All over the ship, people are finding themselves weightless!
[[It will take about twenty minutes for the team in Neuropathy to fix it, and Stacy's gravity will fluctuate a bit (making you lighter and heavier) for about thirty minutes after that as it readjusts. You're free to start threads anywhere in that time period.]]

It didn't take long for Nanoha to throw the window open and jump out herself - but unlike Tsukasa, she could control it. As the wings shimmered to life on her heels, Nanoha flew after him. "Do you need any help?"

After a few minutes fixing up the lab, Billy learned that the team was having some difficulty restoring gravity. He'd have a small window of time to venture out and make sure his friends were safe.
So he shot out, having trouble at first but eventually learning to strike the wall close to the ground as he moved. On his way, he saw a familiar blue shape.
Renne...no, he doesn't have anything to ground himself on! "Hang on!"
Pushing, he kicked up enough momentum to gently catch the imp and start drifting toward a wall. "You okay?"
"That's a relief," Billy breathes, tugging Renne closer when he starts to drift. There's the floor---kick at a careful angle, now they should reach the wall.
"The artificial gravity was deactivated. That means the force that usually keeps things on the ground disappeared. There's a team trying to restore it, but until then we'll float off into space if we don't stay still or hold ourselves down."
He's very glad he didn't have a chance to eat before this happened.

But she wasn't very used to just floating out of her desk when she was trying to get work done. "What on earth...?"
