Clark looked out over the strange battlefield. For the most part, it did look like hell. For the moment, though, he put it behind him. He needed to focus on the task at hand - finding others and aiding them as well. Kon was safe for now. Others needed his help now.
As he double checked the weapons he had gotten from the earlier dream, he let out a sigh.
"I really wish I had my powers right now... but, no time for what if..." he uttered.
At the gunfire she rolled out of the way, popping up in a kneeling position staying low enough to be out of immediate danger (though her armor already did sort of that for her) but still able to combat bullets with good old fashioned space firepower.
"Wouldn't be the first beast I've fought this week," though she was running lower on missiles than she was really comfortable. Still, she had the advantage of being almost a walking tank.
"Alright! Erwin, you take them forwards. I'll put down fire." He crawls up to the lip of the crater and sites his rifle. "Anyone else who's givign fire, stick with me. Let me know when you're ready."
It seems so natural, slipping back into his war mindset. He's already assessing what's happening, deciding what will make good cover, planning where to fall back to if he needs to, picking out where he's going when he moves forward.
Lex was, unfortunately, out of a gun at the moment. But he still had a brain, as screwed up as it was. He was smart enough to duck for cover.
"Despite what Jurassic Park insists on, T-Rexes had damn good sight." Or so most research he read suggested. "But they hunted more like sharks, and leaned on their sense of smell to hunt." Which meant that Samus was likely just a brightly colored rock to it, while blood-soaked Bruce was probably lit up like a Christmas tree.
"If those soldiers can bleed, they'll make an excellent distraction for it." Yes, Lex Luthor's helpful idea was to use the lesser enemies as a sacrifice to distract the greater one and they could get free.
He hesitated for a moment, eying Lex. He didn't like the idea of leaving what appeared to be people behind for that thing to munch on, but... he didn't really have much of a choice.
"...alright. We're going to move. Give us covering fire!"
Oh Samus could take care of giving them plenty of cover. She unlimited ammo made her all too powerful on this battlefield. Her only limitation was her ability to maintain focus on the battlefield.
Unfortunately she also sticks out in her bright orange armor. And if it walks like a tank and talks like a tank (metaphorically speaking), it'll call for anti-tank weapons. And one rocket found itself on path towards the hunter. Her danger meter skyrocketed at the last possible moment. She looked up and lost her focus for just a moment, but that moment was long enough.
The impact was quick, but it caused quite the little explosion. A cloud of dust rose up immediately and the hunter was out of view.
But after a moment it cleared up. The heap of metal lay motionless, face-down in the dust. She finally stirred. Her head hurt. All sorts of warning and danger signs flashed across her HUD. She was okay. Rattled, but okay.
"Dammit," All her powerups were offline. Her armor needed time to recalibrate. It was essentially useless for the time

"Here, take one of mine!" Superman said, taking one of the pistols and tossing it to Samus. "I can find another if need be. Remember that we're not playing by our rules right now."
He may be powerless at the moment, but if sacrificing some of his own help to aid others meant someone could keep going, then so be it.

Locked and loaded, he continued on.
Right now? This looked like a job for Superman.

"There goes our powerhouse. You hurt?"

"Fine. I need a gun," because she couldn't afford for them waste time on being concerned over her.
