Yue walked into the room with quiet contemplation, all this information, and news. Her life had so many questions as it was, now there were so many more, her heart rate went up. Was she excited? It would explain her being connected to wanted criminals if this was the kind of life she enjoyed. Living ship, strange technology... the wake-up and clothes left something to be desired. However, all in all this should be exciting.
Yet as she entered the room, she was obviously distracted. Her eyes fixed on a card in her hand. She was glad she found this, and her brush and ties. Her hair would be unmanageable without them. She sighed and pocketed the card, no point in fixating on him not being here. She couldn't solve that even if she wished. "Negi-sensei..."
And someone has had their eye on this certain person. Indeed, had she been here, Alessa would have taken a pointed interest in the girl's aura. As Alessa herself was similar in instances to the King, this one's copy was dead on accurate. One moment ago, Yue was by herself, and the next there was a demon girl behind her.
"Who, or what, is a Neggy-sen-say?" She asked, looking curious.
Yue whirled around at the voice, her mind a maelstrom of thoughts. How trusting should she be, the girl is obviously not an Knight of any kingdom she knew, and Yue didn't feel any of the signs of her memories attaching to this girl. While she had no obvious reason to distrust the girl, what reason did she have to trust her?
"He is someone I trust," Yue left it at that. "My name is Ayase Yue, pleasure to meet you." Yue gave a polite bow to the other girl.
"I see," Alessa said. "I am Alessa. I have been on this ship for several months now, and I see that you might require a bit of an explanation. You, like several others here, look confused."
That, of course, was an understatement: there were several people walking about that looked as if they were all still gathering their wits, deciding if the place they were looking at was a dream or real.
If only they knew.
"I confess, I have not seen anyone on the ship with the name Neggy-sen-say. But I will try to answer any other question as best as I can."
Having just navigated her way through the clothing room (read slipped and fell and scrambled around through it) Chihiro was finally beginning to gain her (spaceship?) legs. But now that she was cleaned, clothed, and at least vaguely navigating her way through the ship she felt a little bit better. The very confused state of mind still hadn't fully left her yet, but she was starting to manage.
If this could really be called 'managing'.
Chihiro wandered almost freely, following lights and walkways that led her to a room that if you asked her to find it again she'd probably be at a loss. But she was here, nonetheless. And she was trying to find someone who could maybe help her?
"Hello? Is anyone there? Mom! Dad!" She called out, letting her echo be her only reply.
For someone who wasn't actually there, the Katara replica was fairly accurate. This made sense: as long as she wasn't imprisoned or fighting some kind of nightmare monster, the waterbender was usually eager to see what new people boarded the ship. This was no exception: Katara would have seen the frightened look on the young girl's face and been instantly drawn to trying to ease her worry and walk her through things.
Sadly, this Katara did not have such heartfelt intentions, but the little girl didn't need to know that did she?
"Hi," she said. "My name is Katara. You look pretty lost. Can I help you with something?"
Other people! This was a good sign.... right? Even the people in the spirit world hadn't harmed Chihiro. So this shouldn't be too different....
Right?
Chihiro bowed low to Katara, her own self not yet making the change from Sen to Chihiro yet. She still hadn't ruled out that she had just waltzed into another area of the spirit world, after all.
"My name is S-se-- Chihiro! My name is Ogino Chihiro," She said, almost too loudly in that way she got when trying to over-compensate for her timidity, fear, and confusion. "Do you know where I am?"
Katara, well, her likeness, laughed politely, but returned the bow. "You don't have to bow so low, Ogino Chihiro," Katara said. "I'm not that much older than you, and I'm as much a person on this ship as you are. My name is Katara."
She put her hands to the girl's shoulders. "You can calm down. No one is going to hurt you here. But to answer your question: you're aboard Stacy, an intergalactic spaceship that's has many, many other people here who have also been brought from their worlds. The Captain would usually explain what's going on, but he's been busy today. I guess...you might have some question about what a spaceship is?"
That's good: play up the waterbender's ignorance. Real Katara would also try to be accommodating about things like technology anyway.
"This suit itches, and it looks horrible on me." Tsukasa said after emerging from the Pod Chamber, dressed in a black leotard like...thing.
At least they kept my stuff together. He thought, looking at his camera, Belt, and RideBooker spread out before him. He started wondering just where to go; after placing his DecaDriver and RideBooker where he normally placed them when he didn't need them and looping his camera around his neck, he stood up to try to find a person in-the-know to fill him in on what's happening.
The copy of Fletcher was timid, but helpful, as the real thing always was. He noticed someone wandering around and seemingly trying to get his bearings, and approached him.
The copy Fletcher said, "Oh," and looked down bashfully, as though embarrassed at having guessed wrong. "Yeah... it's really big. And it's easy to get lost. But everyone here's really helpful." He offered a smile.
The ship-voice claimed they had been saved from lost homes, taken to save others from the same fate. It was not impossible for her to believe; she had seen worlds die before. But she mistrusted such a useful statement, one that gave them every reason to forget what they'd known and become obedient to their host. A cause that had passed nobility and become no less than necessary, and left them nothing else to return to... who wouldn't follow, if they believed it? Certainly not she. Champion, protector, those were words to rouse the heart of any child of Belka.
But she was a child of Belka only second, now. More than anything she was Hayate's, and more than anything she needed to hear some news of the girl.
This was definitely not Dustin. Anyone who knew him, even impersonally, would’ve seen this as a rather…flimsy disguise, at best. But that wasn’t what the Nightmare King was going for, was it? A rude, paranoid, testy genius would not create trust amongst the new crew members-so where was the harm in…tweaking his personality a little bit?
The smile on his scarred face, copy or no, did not fit the person it adorned.
Rude, paranoid, and testy would have worked fine on Rein. It was realistic, given the circumstances. But anything less than naked hostility would have served him just as well, when he offered an answer to her single, all-consuming question. It was strange, but she was relieved that he had seen through her so easily.
"Hayate Yagami. A girl, Japanese, fifteen years old, short for her age, brown hair, blue eyes. She often wears yellow ties on her bangs, and carries a heavy book with a device of a fitched cross." Reinforce's speech was normally slow and steady to a fault, so while her description probably didn't sound unusual she wasn't sure she'd ever said anything so quickly in her life. There was a strange, wrenching feeling that came with describing the girl that she wanted very badly not to focus on.
Ahh…give trust but crush hope. That was his imperative, wasn’t it?
Clone!Dustin pretended to ponder about this, even managing to capture that odd glimmer in his emerald eyes whenever the complex gears in his head were turning. He added a contemplative stroke of his unshaved chin for good measure.
Now, what was the best answer here? Real!Dustin certainly hadn’t encountered this individual, at least not on a name-to-name basis-but suggesting that he had…Hmm.
“…Yes, I think I know who you’re talking about,” he nodded, letting his shoulders drop and casting his glance at the floor for dramatic effect, “I…saw her body when I first woke up here. It seems someone tampered with her pod-experimental reasons, you know, to figure out how they worked. Such an abrupt shift in stasis…”
That was based off something true, wasn’t it? Hadn’t Real!Dustin seriously pondered doing such tests? ”Sacrifice one, save millions” was his logic. What a monster. The Nightmare King was doing Rein a favor, exposing her to this new personality

With the sudden shock of waking up in a foriegn place covered in slime, Chao was probably one of the few who had quickly gotten over the experience. Her Martian brain was already running a mile a minute, her brown eyes wide in awe at the creepy yet fascinating architecture of the ship around her. Well, maybe not exactly architecture and the feel of her hand against the walls while she climbed the spiral of stairs proved that point. The feel of super-dense bone and cartilage added to the mildly flexible muscles and skin was just

Stacy definitely was alive, but that response felt too automated than a true sapient response. Maybe the ship couldn't quite verbally express dialogue to that degree? It would make sense given that a being of this size wouldn't be capable of such needs as verbal communication, especially given that it has both written and from the experience earlier, empathic abilities to project ideas and feelings. Humans such as Chao unfortunately didn't have such controversially expansive communications such as the ships, which would result in communication to be far more constrained.
That just meant that Chao had to be more selective in her words. she patiently tapped her chin as she thought out her words carefully. she gave the ship or rather whatever wall or phosphorous vein could see with a gentle smile. "It's a nice name! A little hard to speak without practice, but nice! Who gave you the name?"
||It's not important information|| Stacy replies. She's good at the helpful-but-not thing, even now that she's back closer to full function there are still some things she's remaining tight-lipped about.

The ship replies. She's definitely alive, and sentient. A thinking and feeling being in her own right.
