Isaac was taking this all pretty much in stride. He'd gone to sleep nude on the shore of Strack island anyway. That the Weaver would transport him elsewhere and cover him with slime did not surprise him in the least. So far, on a scale of horror for Weaver-encounters, this was well below average.

"Weaver? What can I do for you?" He called to the walls.

"My name isn't Weaver, but you can start by telling me what exactly this is all about," comes a short, snappy reply from an older and very nude woman. She's got an arm folded over her chest to try and preserve some modesty.

Isaac was a gentleman. Well not so technically, he was actually on the high end of the proletariat scale of his home city, being a mercenary-scientist. But he certainly wasn't going to oggle a lady who didn't wish to be. So he averted his eyes, staring at the eerie pods, open and gushing like strange eggs.

"Ma'am, i'm afraid I don't know. The last time I went to sleep, I was set to make a deal with a giant transdimensional spider though and this is the exact kind of thing it would do just to...amuse itself."

"Transdimensional spider. Well, after the biological computer network, I'm ready to believe anything."

Grace frowned, "So where the Hell are we?"

Kate was asleep at eight in the morning, having stayed up half the night hunting down possible leads. She was trying to figure out who had ordered Coonan to kill her mother, but so far had had little success. She was sitting at her desk, head resting on her hands, and having a most bizarre dream ( ... )

Grim Eyes was in the process of trying to peel the goo out of her mane, fluffing it until she thought it was standing at a reasonably intimidating height. It wouldn't do to make a bad impression on the hairless monkeys, after all. She knew how they got about non-humans.

Still, the woman who had emerged from the smelly pods near her sounded like she had some spit and gristle to her. "If they're the one responsible for all this, I'll help," she said dryly.

Beckett frowned down at herself and the goo that was covering her, but pushed it aside for the time being. She could always get cleaned off later. Right now, she just wanted to process the load of information that had been thrust at her by the disembodied voice that apparently belonged to someone called "Stacy".

Her attention was distracted by someone speaking to her, who appeared to be a sort of lion-thing. She tried to not look too fazed, and replied, "I don't know if he is, but if I find him, I'd appreciate the help."

"Oh, males," Grim Eyes said, taking on a tone that was at once understanding and totally condescending. "The type to ruin something just by bumping into it, is he? The hopeless ones are always the worst to deal with."

She shook her hand, trying to dislodge the goop stuck to it, making a face.

The first thing Ava Ballantyne was aware of was a feeling of humid, oppressive staleness to the air around her, as if the air had been recycled and then put through a humidifier. The second thing she noticed was that she was both naked and covered in slime.

The third thing Ava noticed, and the bit of information that temporarily shut her brain down entirely, was that there was a voice inside her head. It takes her a few minutes to formulate a response, but eventually she manages to stammer out "I-- champion-- no, no, no. No. There has got to be some mistake here."

There is no reply from Stacy, whoever she might be.

Any other situation would not have left Guybrush feeling so alarmed. This one, however, had just followed him getting a cutlass to the gut, so one assumes he had reason to be a little jumpy.

Or, you know, as jumpy as someone can be when they’re naked and covered in sticky goop. How his hook managed to stay suction-cupped to his wrist was a mystery to him-why he still had the hook at all and not his clothing was even more curious. But even Guybrush Threepwood, the attention-lacking pirate that he was, knew that was hardly what he needed to be focusing on right now.

There was that voice in his head, after all. In a way it reminded him disturbingly of the Voodoo Lady. Perhaps it was the Voodoo Lady. She was certainly ambiguous enough to fit the profile. And this sounded like a quest to him ( ... )

Ava's really more of a nude teenager, although that might make it worse instead of better. "What the hell kind of nickname is 'Plunder Bunny'?" she calls over to the voice, sounding less panicked and more irritated at this point.

Indeed it doesn’t. You’ll have to excuse Guybrush; his mind was rather preoccupied at first, too much so to be bashful. A new voice coming from the nearby figure that he’d previously ignored was enough to whack the sense back into him.

It wasn’t the right kind of sense, unfortunately.

“Odd that you should ask!” Guybrush proclaimed pompously as he took on a prouder stance, “The term ‘Plunder Bunny’ was actually coined in the Mediterranean Gang Riots between the Bloody Doubloons and the Maneating Wildflowers, and was a phrase that meant to-“

Erm. She might want to stop him there.

Grace coughed, slowly trying to pick herself up off of the floor. She was naked - she knew that much. She was also covered in slime. Which was odd, because the last thing she remembered was feeling Eywa, touching the consciousness of an entire planet, before everything had blacked out. Maybe there was an afterlife after all. But if this was it, it was rather disappointing.

The voice in her head resonated for a moment.

"...who are the Ohm? How the Hell did I get here? Because last I remember, I was rather unfortunately dying from a bullet wound."

When no answer was forthcoming, she started to walk - someone was going to give her answers. And right about then her xenobiologist mind noticed that the walls were distinctly organic.

"...well. This might be interesting after all."

"The walls, huh? Aren't they pretty?"

The voice belonged to a girl somewhere in her twenties - rather androgynous, shockingly blue-haired, and completely cheerful about her lack of clothing, bouncing over from somewhere to Grace's left. "Gorgeous orgotech - I've never seen anything like it, isn't it glorious?"

"Fascinating, more like... Damn, I wish I had proper equipment. And that I knew what the Hell was going on, because I've never seen anything like this before! It's all biological plant-life it looks like! Even Pandora wasn't like this. This is a damn gold mine..."

She glanced over at the girl with a frown, "You probably don't know what's going on, do you?"

"Not a damn clue," the girl said cheerfully, "I just woke up a few minutes ago naked and gooey. Which normally wouldn't be a bad thing, but normally I know where I am when that happens."

Well, if nothing else, the girl was outgoing.

"Anyway," she continued, "I have seen stuff like this - I'm an orgotech engineer, you'd hope so - but it's on a pretty big scale. Nicely done, too. Oh, and I'm Jokimru Deifeld, but call me Kim, everyone else does." She extends a hand, having not even paused to switch tracks.

Disorientation.

That was the first thing that Ben could tell when he slid free form the pod and was summarily dumped on the ground. The world swam onto focus as he grabbed the floor. It felt soft, yielding, like he was on a Highbreed vessel or base again. But that was impossible right? The Highbreed wouldn't have gone as far as to kidnap him? He was the savior of their kind!

As the world swam into focus, Ben rubbed his arm -- and found it bare. "Uh oh..."
