After her time on the ship, she thought she was beginning to understand the voice of Stacy, humming her songs through her structure. She was becoming familiar to her, and a comfort in her own rite, especially after traveling to the planet (Earth, they called it) and feeling the difference ( Read more... )

There was a child standing over her with big, dark eyes and a strange hat. "Ah...Hello...I'm sorry to disturb you..."

Disturb would have been the last word Aeris would have used for the child's speech. She loved children. If she had her physical body, she would have been a part of Cloud and Tifa's efforts to help the children of Midgar.

She smiled up at the girl, as gentle and soft as any of her other actions. "Hello there."

Somewhat reassured, Yuri still nervously twiddled her thumbs. "Um, I just wanted to let you know there's a trick to the food here. If you take it to the sensoriums, you can make it taste and feel like whatever you want."

She smiled, and tilted her head to the side. "Really?" She'd never used the Sensoriums in any great capacity, primarily because she had little reason to. Even the promise of familiar food was one she might only indulge in occasionally. "I didn't know that. Thank you."

The food here sucks, there's no doubt about it. Oh, how Ollie longs for a hot flaming bowl of chili right now... Either way, food is food, right?

After he gets his tray filled with slop, he passes by a few of the tables, looking for one that isn't so crowded so he doesn't have to deal with some of the more colorful characters on the ship right now.

Thats when he spots the woman in pink who looked rather, well, distressed. Being the bleeding heart that Ollie is, he sighs and turns directions to head towards her. "Not exactly fine dining they've got going on here," he offers with a smile, trying to sound light-hearted and friendly.

She glanced up in surprise at the statement. She wasn't certain what fine dining was, beyond a general concept of what it would consist of--that sort of information was not among the memories she retained from the Lifestream--but it stood to reason this was not what those like President Shinra and Palmer expected.

Whether he chose to eat Stacy's offerings for the good of others, or whether he was given no choice in the matter, Aeris could not say, but she offered him a sympathetic smile regardless. "It nourishes us, and Stacy asks for nothing in return."
