Chris opened his eyes blearily to catch a glimpse of the ninja standing over him. He said nothing, partially not wanting to distract the man as he stitched together the gashes, and partially because he was sure this was some sort of hallucination.

"Hey, look who's awake." Doc smiled. "Welcome back sleeping beauty. How're the pain meds working? Nice and comfy and not feeling these stitches I hope?"

Chris just put a hand to his head, still looking like he thinks he's dreaming.

"I think I'm seeing things too, but yea... feeling a lot better..."

"Why do you say 'seeing things'?" Doc finishes his stitching and starts feeling around Chris's head for contusions.

Chris was very certain he was seeing things. This was one heck of a trip, even for him. Never before had he seen a ninja, let alone one playing the role of doctor.

"I mean... it looks... this is gonna sound silly... but... you look like a ninja."

Doc stared at him for a second, then smiled.

"Hah, oh, that's just cause I am. Doctor McNinja, pleased to be treating your injuries today. What's your name?"

Great. Not only was he seeing things, now he was hearing things. This was turning into one hell of a hallucination. For now, though, he decided to humor his mind and play along.

"Uh... yea... um. Chris. Chris Redfield."

"Nice to meet you Chris." McNinja nodded a hello, then double checked the equipment he was working with, setting up an IV drip with what was clearly very practiced speed.

"I'm gonna hook you up with an IV, give you some very nice painkillers okay?" he explained, holding up the needle so Chris could see it before he started prepping his wrist for the poke. "You might feel a little funny, but I promise it will be a pleasant funny and it'll give you the chance to get some sleep which you probably really need."

Chris waved a hand refusing the painkiller increase at the moment. "I'd rather not... not 'til I talk to my sister... I need to know that she's okay..."

A rush of wind, and Nathan was dropping off someone toward one of the beds. He glanced around, still looking pretty splattered, and bruised up from the battle. Wasn't that injured otherwise, other than maybe a scratch or two. He was pretty sure they never got a chance to bite him.

At least he thinks so.

Peter was rushing around, helping anyone who needed it. Luckily, he had put on gloves, so he wasn't simply absorbing the abilities of just anyone. A finger here, a burn there, Nathan...

... Nathan?!

Peter ran up to the elder Petrelli with exuberance and concern.

"Nathan!" He sad as he grabbed his brother and began giving him a quick lookover. "Are you okay? You have no idea how glad I am to see you right now..."

Nathan turned at hearing that voice. After all this time... and he was safe. The damn zombies didn't get him. Granted, he wasn't sure if he could just heal from any attack, or whether the infection would overrule it. Still.

"Pete! Oh god, wasn't sure if I'd ever see you around here." And he embraced his brother back with a wide grin.

"Think I'm good, got some of them on me, but I don't think they got a bite in. How are you?"

Peter returned the hug, and gave his brother his trademark exasperated look.

"Frustrated with the few people I've met so far, but pretty good." He couldn't believe how happy he was to see Nathan. Sure, Nathan had his bad points, but this was his brother. And living through any kind of zombie invasion makes you appreciate things like that that much more.

"So what exactly is the deal here, Nathan? Is this another hellish alternate future... or... What? I don't see Hiro or future... me... Around, so I'm guessing it's a lot more complicated than time travel..."

Nathan sighed, and leaned against a wall. He was feeling pretty tired and worn out, but wasn't going to sleep. Not now, not yet.

He pinched the bridge of his nose before replying, "It's not time travel first of all. It's definitely not that, and Hiro hasn't woken up yet either if he got drafted. And this is the first time I've seen you since that press conference in Odessa." Giving an idea how long and far back his brother was.

"Second of all, we're on a spaceship. A living spaceship."
