Now properly plantsuited and much more composed, Satori flew in to meet up with Rearguard, going well over the heads of the zombies. Resting comfortably over her heart was an oversized eyeball-like thing, about the size of a tennis ball, connected to a series of tendrils fastened around her neck, shoulder, arm, waist, and one attached to her headband. "[Your help is very much appreciated,]" Jonas said, trying to remember if he had seen this person before. A brief flicker through his memory banks told him that he had not. Had there been a Pod Release?

"[We are quite capable of destroying them, if you can suppress them in any way. If you would like, you can stand behind us with Mei Ling. The rest of us are entirely inedible to these creatures.]"

He zapped a few more zombies with the laser beam from his forehead, dropping them to the ground. "[If you have located a place that we might retreat to for better terrain, we would also be most grateful.]"

"I wasn't--" Satori hesitated, blinking in confusion. This person was definitely alive, so why couldn't she read anything? She had lost the Eye for a while; did something happen to it?

There'd be time to worry about that later. "I wasn't looking for tactical options. I was sent to help fight, so that's what I'm going to do."
