Things were not good. Comms were shut down, the door was closed, and from the sound of it, the situation on the other side was definitely not going well. Mei Ling was, understandably, nervous as all get out.

She fiddled with the comm console. It remained nonoperational regardless of all her efforts. It added to her stress. She tried to keep calm, she really did, but thing were not going as planned.

She fidgeted, she paced, she muttered proverbs to herself. None of it really helped, and unknown to Mei Ling, things for her were about to get a lot worse.

She spotted the new arrivals out of the corner of her eye. She whipped around to face them. She screamed.

Things were bad.

Sentinel's olfactory sensors told him something was not quite consistent about these approaching organics. Taking a closer scan of them, he let out a shriek.

"What the heck are those things? Aren't normal organics disgusting enough?!" His lance and shield were at the ready.

Jonas hadn't stopped hammering on the door yet (and he hadn't planned to until it was open again) but he turned around at the sound of Mei Ling's scream and Sentinel's shrieking.

"[What are-- zombies?!]"

He flew over to put himself between Mei Ling and the encroaching arrivals. She was probably the one they were after, unless these zombies had a taste for electronics, and he was still technically a suit of armor.
