Where was Fate? Where was Vivio...?! Were they all right without her? Nanoha knew that the girl would be well-cared-for in her absence, but... she hated the thought of Vivio alone without her adopted mother. There was a worried look on her face as she stared out the window.

Chris waved. "Hi there. I'm Chris. Do you need any help? Are you all right?"

There was a rather angry looking girl who Katara might have avoided if only because she wasn't sure what she was in for, but decided against it. Besides, who knew what was going through her head?
"Hi," Katara said brightly. "I'm Katara. I guess you have a lot of questions right now. Fire away!"

With nobody else she knew here, she decided she should stay calm and focused. At least most of the inhabitants of this... "ship" seemed friendly (ship? What ship had a roof this large on it?). She doesn't think about the impact (if any) her red eyes and silver tracework tattoos might have on any judgment of her, though.

Of course, the woman had yet to enslave Angua's mind and take her prisoner, so she was all right with going along calmly for now.
"I hear them calling it a 'ship' but I don't believe it. I've never seen a ship this size. And sailing in the air?"

Well, okay, she kind of failed. But maybe a little fraction of the gist got across.
