Oooo-kay, this was officially weird. Maybe not as weird as having to fight a berserk machine that was a borderline Eldritch horror to get your girlfriend back, but it's getting there.

Apparently, he was important to someone on this 'Stacy', though. That could be any number of people, really.

Allenby hated Stacy, and that wasn't going to change.

But she went down to those damn pod caverns every single day, yelling out six names--Domon Kasshu, Rain Mikamura, Sai Saici, Chibodee Crockett, Argo Gulskii. She yelled at Stacy in between the names, telling her to get her friends out of the damn pods already, fix her stupid systems, quit reading people's minds and pop the people who oughta be out here already--

--so when that announcement came over the comms, Allenby was running all the way.

Even then, she was wary. What if none of them were there? What if everyone else got a friend and she didn't? And then she spotted him.

"Domon! Domon, Domon, DOMON KASSHU!"

HOPEFULLY HE WAS READY FOR A HUG BECAUSE THAT WAS WHAT WAS COMING HIS WAY. AT ABOUT THIRTY MPH.

Suddenly, Domon found himself under attack! Attack by a blue-headed girl in the form of a high-speed hug - the best kind of attack, really. Domon stumbles backward from the impact, managing to stay on his feet somehow.

"Whoa, whoa, hey there!" He might not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but Domon can at least tell that's the reaction of someone who missed him. He returns the hug and pats Allenby on the head. Seeing her that happy to see him was rather sobering given what Stacy had said about his duration here...

He might not be here for very long, but right now that was okay. Allenby's face was one enormous smile as Domon hugged her back. She unlatched herself after a moment and silently ordered her eyes to dry up right now, dammit, this was no time to start blubbering.

"I knew it! I knew you were in those dumb pods, waiting for Stacy to fix your avia or whatever the hell she does. Domon..." Ahhh, dumb tears. Well, whatever. She just blotted at them with the heel of her glove, still smiling in spite of it. "Heh, whoops. Hey, so... feelin' okay? Did uh, did Stacy tell you what we're all doin' here?"

"Yeah, those pods..." There's a bit of a cringe - repeatedly suiting up in a rubber mo-cap body condom? No problem. Crazy alien snot getting in the same places? KINDA ICKY.

He scratches the back of his head, but smiles. "I suppose I am, all things considered - but no, all I know is that...well, she's Stacy and what all she just said about only being here for a day." He doesn't seem too happy about it either. He might not be good at reading emotions, but if there were tears involved, it usually wasn't good. Clearly, they should punch each other instead of verbally catching up.

"Yeah..." Allenby's shoulders drooped. "See, Domon, after we saved Earth from the Devil Gundam--these people, Ohm, came from another universe, and they destroyed it anyway. Not to mention a whole lot of other places."

She had to force herself to say each word. Learning what had happened in the first place had been awful enough, realizing that everything they'd fought for had ended up for nothing, that everything she'd ever known and was learning to love was now gone... but saying it to Domon? Domon Kasshu, King of Hearts, who'd dove right into the center of the Devil Gundam and destroyed it together with Rain?

It made her feel sick. Really, truly sick.

Domon was quiet as Allenby spoke, but the more she said - and the more he dwelt on it, the more it was stirring him up.

All that work, all that effort - for nothing? Master Asia and Kyouji had died for nothing? Domon's fists clenched and shook - he wanted to find these guys who'd done this - show 'em what for. However...

He was only here for one day. Nobody here seemed panicked - so there was no current, obvious threat to lash out at.

The King of Hearts, not able to do anything... You're not the only one who feels sick, Allenby.

"...I don't know what to say."

Allenby could see the anger in Domon building up, and without any possible release--there were no Ohm here, no Daligig, no anyone or anything that he could fight and defeat. It was one long string of weird missions and planetary visits with only a battle every so often--battles that were important to save worlds, but so far had only taken tiny steps towards fixing anything.

And that was only the half of it. She hadn't even told him about commanders, rules, Daligig, lies, pods, GLaDOS....

"C'mon," she said, grabbing his wrist to tow him towards the transport tubes. "You wanna hit something and so do I. Let's go fight."

Domon's too caught up in trying to sort things out to notice what Allenby is doing before he's being tugged away - it defuses the frustration enough to confuse him as he stumbles along to catch up. "Wait, fight what?"

Despite the sobering news, a little grin quirked on Allenby's face at Domon's puzzled expression. "Me! Who else?" She let go of his wrist, trusting that he'd follow her. "There's a big city down there and somehow or other Stacy got her hands on the Great Wall of China. It's probably the best trainin' spot I've found yet." Big, lots of things to jump on and bounce off of, and... kind of isolated.

She stopped when they reached the tubes. "Uh, this is a little weird. Just step in and shout 'the city' and the ship'll grab you and sling you there," she warned before demonstrating. Allenby had got over the tentacle thing ages ago, but given that Domon's memories of the Devil Gundam were a little fresher, she figured he could use the heads-up.

Domon chuckled as he followed - a proper fight with Allenby, without interruptions, and no lousy Gundam Fight looming over their heads... Despite the circumstances, that definitely sounded great. And on the Great Wall? Man... It was pretty wild-sounding, but Allenby wasn't a liar.

He made a face as the thing picked up Allenby and slung her... And slowly stepped in. "...THE CITY!"

...

What followed was a loud yell that lasted all the way until Domon's arrival behind Allenby.
