STAGE 2 SETUP

Rather than dying down, the battle was only escalating. More powerful Ohm bio-forms were being released against the fighting forces defying the bug menace. The injured were being brought back in droves, and the shields were nearly failing. That said, the Ohm were also taking a beating themselves. Could the forces of good hold out long enough for the battle to be won?

Aqua pulled up, going higher out of the Tank's reach, as the cold bomb went off.

"Snow?" she asked. What had the Ohm done? Then again... "Maybe this can help."

She reverted her Keyblade to normal and began to freefall. She aimed the Keyblade at the Tank and shouted, "Deep Freeze!"

Drawing from the ice around her, she blasted the ice spell at the Tank, attempted to freeze at least part of it solid.

Negi fired again, another answering meow echoing from the kitty laser seconds before his Pactio dissolved. "Damnit, the space battle musta got it. It'll take a moment to recharge but we don't have that."

Pulling out another card, he shifted it as said card changed into a metal staff. Twirling it around, he thrust it foward. "RYUU JHIANG BANG!"

SCREEEEEE~ The pole shot forward, extending rapidly and growing to an enormous size as it aimed to smash into the side where Aqua attacked it as well.

Will's eyes widened as she heard that explosion and felt it suddenly get really damn cold. Either way though, Aqua was using it to her advantage, so Will would have to use her freezing the damn thing to hers as well, firing off another blast towards the Ohm.

Sasami came to a stop as she noticed the other three were fighting the Tank, using the weather change to their advantage. As the Tank came charging, it staggered a bit as Aqua froze a bit of the Tank's hide, then bellowed in pain as it broke by Negi and Will's attacks.

She began thinking of what she could do - a Blizzara attack perhaps? Then, as if someone was telling her to do something different, she thrusted her staff forward and shouted something different.

"MAGNERA!"

The Tank, recovering, attempted to clamp its mandibles on Sasami's head. Instead, the pull of the new spell made him miss by mere inches as it dragged it back.

"...did I... do that?"

"That's the next level!" Aqua cried out, using Aeroga to stop her fall. She couldn't risk holding still long enough to use a Shotlock attack, so she shouted, "Stand back!" and fired off another devastating Mega Flare.

Retracting the weapon, he changed forms once again, twirling the cloak around as he wound it around himself, vanishing as he did so.

Seconds later, from thin air, a large winged spear hurled out from a pocket dimension straight at the tank as Negi unfolded himself from said pocket dimension.

... And Will just jumped back and fired off more lightning at the tank. God she was so outclassed here.

As the Tank struggled to fight the Magnera spell before it dispersed, Sasami took notice of the situation. One: they were horribly outclassed. Two: the thing, despite taking a Mega Flare shot, a gigantic spear and another bolt of Quintessence, was still standing.

At that point, she happened to notice something in the corner of her eye - a fallen Moraig Assault Walker. Running over to it, it seemed that it was still in order. The only problem was that it's power supply was a little more than shot.

"Hey, guys! Maybe this'll help!" Sasami shouted, just as the Tank started to break free. If they wanted to use it, they'd better do so now.

"Go ahead!" Aqua warned. "We'll cover you!"

Fire magic surrounded her in Firestorm form, causing steam to rise from the frozen air around her. She got in close enough to make a few fire-powered strikes with her Keyblade before launching off a few mines underneath it, then flying away from it when her Firestorm magic faded.

Creating three light spears, Negi hurled it at the tank to continue pinning it to the ground. He wasn't saying much, having burnt a lot of mana already as sweat poured down his face. This was much more intensive than just slugging it out with Fate.

Will blinked, looking over at Sasami as she noticed just what the younger girl was standing next to. A machine. A big giant machine, with guns.

She had never tried using her powers on something that big before.

Will grinned, before she charged forward, flying up to the machine as fast as she could. This was going to be great!

As soon as she was close enough, she was blasting the mech with quintessence, fueling as much power as she could spare into it. After all, she could bring all the appliances in her apartment to life, how hard could a giant war machine of death be?

Not hard, apparently, as soon enough, the mech's eyes started to glow as it slowly brought itself to it's feet. On it's own. Without a pilot inside.

And then, heard throughout anyone's mind nearby, was one single word.

"KILL!"

And with that shout from the mech, the machine charged forward, pulling it's fist back before thrusting it forward right into the tank's head.

Between Negi's spears, Aqua's Firestorm attack and the mech Will brought to life, the Tank was starting to be fought back. But, it just wasn't enough.

She flexed her hand a bit, remembering the energy "blade" she created earlier, but, despite having a little bit of power left, it wasn't enough. They had to end the battle here or they were all dead.

"Negi-kun!" Sasami called out. "...is there anyway you can do what we had to do to you to me?"

Negi grinned at that as he landed. "You need to ask? Here comes some power!"

In an instant and a silent incantation, Sasami would feel a huge amount of power flowing to her, as with everyone else who had a pactio thus far with him. He was essentially supercharging everyone within the range, and amplfying his magic.

"Freeze!"

Cold air gathered tight around Aqua as she used Glacier. She spun around, releasing a freezing blast all around her to hit the Tank, followed by a second blast.

Will grinned as she saw everything that was going on, her mech moving to use it's large rifle to start blasting the Tank right in the face.

And then she fell forward, only barely managing to use her legs and hands to keep herself from falling right onto her face. "Okay... maybe that took a lot more out of me than it first felt like."
