The rest of the crew assembled on the Observation Deck to meet the latest editions to their numbers. After the revelation that their worlds are gone, many of them are even more eager to see people they knew from home.

No Domon, no Rain, no anyone else from the Shuffle Alliance... yet.

Allenby was clinging very hard to that yet as she made her way through the crowd of new folks and helpers, looking high and low. Well, actually mostly high. She wasn't very gifted in the height area, which was why she was wandering around practically on her tiptoes when she bumped into someone.

"Whoops! Uh, are ya new?" she said as she awkwardly hopped to regain her balance.

Typical that just before she felt ready to go out and try and bet a better grasp on the situation that it'd be forced on her instead. She jumped briefly when the girl bumped into her, but recovered quickly enough.

"I guess I am, yeah." The people here seemed nice enough, at least. "Are you okay?"

"Oh yeah, it takes a lot more than that to bruise me," Allenby chuckled. "I'm just down here lookin' for some friends of mine, but then again there's a lot of new people to meet too." Lots of lost-looking people in plantsuits that could use a hand, even though Allenby knew there were people who were better than her at that kind of thing.

Still! One more friendly face couldn't hurt, right? "I'm Allenby Beardsley. What's your name?"

Allenby shook her head. "Nope, not yet. So far it looks like I'm gonna have to keep yelling at Stacy." She couldn't even think that they hadn't been rescued... if she was here, they had to be. Plain as day.

"But it looks like a lot of you guys are pretty cool whatever place you're from! So it's nice to meet ya, Christina."

"I'm glad you think so!" It felt good to be able to slide into casual conversation, odd situation aside. She could feel something akin to relief take hold as the tension trickled away from her shoulders and down her back.

"So, I take it the yelling hasn't been much good so far?" Good-natured, though she was genuinely curious.

"...It doesn't look that way this time, but I haven't seen absolutely everyone yet." But truthfully, if one of them was here? They'd probably have made themselves noticed by this point. Really noticed.

Well. That just meant she had to keep yelling. "But it ain't so bad. I still know some awesome people." She was almost about to ask if Christina'd met any friends or where she was from but--no, right after she'd hatched would be bad. Especially for that second question.

"They can't be far off if you're here too. It just means you're not loud enough!" As much for herself as it was for Allenby. If things weren't going the way you wanted them too, change it yourself. Years of working and living somewhere with that philosophy left an impression.

"Do you know if it's completely random, or..?"
