I'm sure you'd love to learn that Bangelfest Buffyfest honed in on that line being all about Buffy and Angel, and that it was really the only parallel they asked Scott Allie about on the whole issue (other than once again mocking Spike fans).
The issue (and your review) make it obvious that 'Angel is a moron' is the best possible excuse for the entire situation, and yet idiot "reporters" want to focus on the Tru Wuv and how they've always been together even when apart (even though any moron - hey, maybe even Angel! - could see Buffy and Angel were over as long ago as I Will Remember You, the first time Angel decided to rape Buffy's mind where Angel erases Buffy's memory against her will in a scene every Bangel shipper has set in their minds to "My Heart Will Go On

Oh god yes - If "I Will Remeber You" wasn't one giant nail in the Bangel coffin then I don't know what it was - I don't HATE many Buffyverse episodes, but that one comes pretty close. I actually thought of "I will Remember You" while I was writing this because it had all that crap about "together you were strong; alone you are dead" which didn't make sense then and plainly gets contradicted here...
