a week in the life of kath vol. 1
At the behest of cindybin , I'm updating. Also because my mid-term exams are over and there's no excuse not to. Plus... awesome meme snagged from teenwitch77 .
Exams went pretty well. All extremely passable.
Life has been pretty good with the exception of a few days.
With the mid-term exams over and our week-long break starting soon, there's going to be a flurry of 21sts coming up. I am going to be ridiculously poor but I'm extremely excited. I'm not a drinking person, but it will be great to dress up a little and unwind with some friends.
This is a horrible update and in no way makes up for my hiatus, but I'll blog again later when my little brother isn't bitching at me to use the computer for his assignment (I'm a terrible sister =D).
Week in the Life
Aim of the Game:
For one week you are to post photographs taken during the day.
Rules:
-You must take between 6-8 new photographs each day.
-Your WITL must be CONSECUTIVE. No skipping days.
-You must post your photographs at the end of that day, sometime after the last picture is taken.
-Each photograph must have the time taken beneath and ...a title, with no other explanation
8:56am. Waiting for class for negotiation class (as part of our business skills course) to start (actually a lot more boring than it sounds and unfortunately there was nothing about hostage situations), I took a picture of the stained glass in our pharmacy building.
10:50am. The weather was really nice today. The nicest part of our campus (and overphotographed).
So of course, I was lying on the grass, listening to music and taking pictures randomly because negotiation finished early (thank god).
10:58am. Again with the waiting for class to start. Pharmacy practice OH NOES. At least all the business skills courses are over and done with next tuesday off yessss
5:03pm. Finished my weekly externship at my pharmacy. Essentially you just go there for a few hours and go through a few questions with the pharmacist and hopefully pick up some hands-on experience.
Usually I just leave after 5 minutes because my jaded mentor doesn't really want to teach me much anyway. This week, he went on holiday though, so my replacement pharmacist pretty much taught me more in those 3 hours that I've learnt over the past 6 weeks with my usual guy. Not that I really minded being able to go home early, but it was an awesome change.
This isn't my pharmacy btw, this is the competition ;) because I forgot about the pictures thing until I had walked out of there.
6:11pm. Finished dinner and uploading images onto photobucket. Note: very important snack food. Today - yesterday's leftover macadamia and butterscotch muffin!
