Seven years ago I get a guy in Berlin who was totally into My Bloody Valentine. I had totally forgotten about that band. Thanks for reminding me. He himself played in a band called Rainer Maria by the way.

Hey I've actually come across Rainer Maria a few times, though I really don't remember their sound at all, he.

I love My bloody Valentine. If you like them, you should check out The Micrphones and Sigur Ros.

She's the singer from Portishead.
I checked out the album I mentioned, and in the end it's just not that great ... seems that if Tricky aint making the music, she just ends up sounding like some 60s flower child, lol.

I love Portishead, though I have to be in the right mood for it. I also love Tricky but did not know he did the music for Portishead. I knew he worked with Massive Attack, who are just the shit as far I as am concerned.

Interesting how some artists pop up in other bands.

If you listen to the Maxinquay album by him (the best one he ever did imo) you will notice that some of the tracks are the exact same as some of the tracks on Dummy, only he's the one singing and it's completely different lyrics.

Yeah, massive attack was definitely the shit on Blue Lines and Protection, but then Tricky left and so did most of their talent. Sad really, but oh well.
