In this post here, I volunteered to read fic ppl hadn't read. ralst asked me to read GL Dartt's Bad Girls fic 'Dead Slow, so here it is.

You're a trooper. I think I read (part of-although I may have stuck it out just cuz I was stubborn and bored) this one too and found exactly the same issues.

Oh man, I just wish it hadn't been so *long*. Like, cut out two-thirds of the conversations and it's still the same but at least the reconciliation would have actually been gratifying, ya know.

Thank you for reading this - and sorry for making you - I've had so many people tell me how good it is, but I just never could work up the energy to read it. Now I'm glad I didn't.

I'm not sure I'm glad I read it. But having done so, I would like to know the opinions of people who love it, just to see what it is I'm missing. Because, it's like there's a good story there somewhere, I just don't think Dartt found it.
