KAMI NO INU : IN TRANSLATION

Utopia
(Risoukyou)

Now Presley's rebirth is at hand
This dark age will soon end
Gleaming sound will envelop the world
If you look at the stage shining in light
The enthusiasm that you were on the verge of losing will be regained

Hey, boy! Why were you put on this earth?
Hey, girl! Create a utopia!

Soon God will emancipate his people
The dog keeper will remove the collars
Dogs will lick God's forehead
All sins will disappear the fuck away
And we'll remember love and peace!

Hey, boy! Why were you put on this earth?
Hey, girl! Create a utopia!

'O lost little lambs, heed my words. We are chosen by God, and our name is "Kami no Inu". And now, now at the time we need it most, we are going to save the world!'
Hey, boy! Why were you put on this earth?
Hey, girl! Create a utopia!

Hey, boy! Why were you put on this earth?
Hey, girl! Create a utopia!

Hey, boy! Why were you put on this earth?
Hey, girl! Create a utopia!

NOTES

"Ima koso, ima koso sekai wo sukuu no da!" could be literally translated as "now, now we will save the world", but that would make the meaning of "~koso" defunct. Imakoso sort of means "now in particular", but it also implies a sense of urgency and appropriateness. I thus translated it as "now at the time we need it most" - it's not what the lyrics actually say, but that's what is implied. Likewise for "why were you put on this earth" - in Japanese, you'd say "Why were you born into this society", but that doesn't sound very nice in English. And as for the use of the word "fuck", well, I needed to make the line vulgar. And what better way of doing that than by using the f word!
