New Trance Class

Hullo folks,

As many of you know, there's a new in-person trance class starting up with me, Nithogg and hilarypoet as teachers. We have agreed that we do not have the resources right now to support a distance-learning class this round

The class itself is in-person only.

However, this community, as far as I'm concerned, is for all alumni of the Trance Classes, of which this will be the third.

I stayed around from the old long-distance class; are people from that class allowed to stay?

As far as I'm concerned this community is for ALL alumni of all three trance classes, including the distance-learning folks from the 2nd class (including you).

If the students of the new class feel they need an LJ community just for them we can start a new one, rather than take this resource away from the rest of you. That said, we have an email for just the current class, and I personally think that's plenty for now.

*reads her post again* I think I see why, at a glance, it seemed like I wanted the older students to go away.

I changed the formatting to draw more attention to the passage about previous students joining.

I just wan't sure (from the original post) if you only wanted in-person past students to stay, or if distance students could stay too. I am glad we are welcome to stick around, because I think the curriculum is one that it's good to work through more than once.

I looked at your edit and I think that adding "in-person or distance" after "or have taken this class before" might help prevent confusion, if anyone hasn't seen this already.

Thanks for your responses- I have been meaning to respond to your original clarification, just been away from the computer a lot. :)
