BB I GOT LOST IN THE WORLD. Actually, I had to go cut down a tree and chop it into firewood, okay?! But, I know I was there. In your heart.
As for Esmeralda... I'd say Juan finds her the easiest to have a conversation with simply because she does enough talking for the both of them. On the flipside, he sometimes can't tell if she's being judgmental, but when he does know it, she can completely ruin his day! Despite that, he does manage to take an advice or two on board from her occasionally. Her passionate monologues are somewhat compelling.

LEON Juan's interactions with Leon have been minimal, but he noticed that he smokes a lot. Although Juan is on the anti-smoking side, he knows all about unhealthy self-indulgence and doesn't judge Leon for it one bit. In all likelyhood, Leon's presence has made Juan decide to start smoking when he turns 40, too. Maybe they won't even be a hazard by then!
SASARAI Let's face it, politics aren't for Juan. In his mind, Sasarai was one of the bad guys, but turned into a good guy when an even badder guy who sort of looks like him took the spotlight. Though, from what he has seen of the bishop, he doesn't look like anything like he imagined a big shot from Harmonia would be. In a good way, too!
As we know, Juan initially had no faith in Thomas as the new castle master, simply because of his experience with every other would-be castle master who came and went with empty promises. A few adventures later, Thomas quickly turned him around, leading them up to this day. Today, Juan comfortably sees him like a little brother, and yet only respects him enough to refer to him by his title. Thomas saved Budehuc, Juan's home of 25 years, and turned it into what it is today... a place that's not miserable to live in. Probably Juan's second-favourite inspiration story, next to William Tell of course!
