Also, your line about human beings not being herd animals reminds me of in Edward Scissorhands when he says, we're not sheep.

It was taken from a section of the book, so I can't take complete credit for it. If you're interested at all in government policy or the natural world, or you want to read a modern-day Walden, read this book.
